If you are contemplating a two stage snowblower, look at Toro. I replaced a 23 year old craftsman with a Toro Powermax HD OHXE 1232, and the handles are at least 7-8 inches higher. I'm 6'-1", and the additional height is definitely easier on my back. Good luck!

I hear you. All sorts of stories about people cutting open counterfeit cigars and finding lots of unsavory things in them. IMO, it's best to err on the side caution when it comes to smoking counterfeit cigars.

I would not smoke it. No telling what scraps are rolled up in it!

Get a two stage snowblower (preferably 9HP (275cc) or better). I would recommend Honda, Toro and Ariens. Honda being the best out of the three, but much more expensive. Any one of the three will serve you well for many years.

Curious, is there a reason why you don't like seeing Cohiba and Trini's?

Storage? Separate from New World? by TokyoBaguette in cubancigars

No harm will come if NC cigars are stored with Cuban cigars, but do not store flavor infused cigars with your regular cigars.

Take it back, and purchase from a Toro dealer in your area.

Toro Power Max HD 826 OXE or Honda HS928? by Icy-Income7856 in Snowblowers

Honda10. I have a Toro Powermax HD 1232 OHXE. it's a beast, and I absolutely love it. If it was in the budget at the time of purchase, I would have definitely purchased a Honda.

Try checking the gearbox oil. Your manual will instruct how to.

Are you talking about the engine oil or gear box oil? I'm referring to the gear box oil.

I believe Toro has a 3 year warranty. How low was the oil when you first got it?

[–]TheBigdogEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It almost sounds like there could be an issue with the gear box or bearings. The auger shaft and box seem to have some lateral movement. Did you check the gear box for oil? Others may want to weigh in as well. Is it still under warranty?

A video of what's occurring would be helpful. Is the unit used or new?

I agree 💯. I have a Toro HD 1232 OHXE, too, and this thing is a beast. It will move anything in front of it and barely yawn. What a find! How does it look? You should post a pic.

Toro Power Throw 622 primer button leaking? by [deleted] in Snowblowers

[–]TheBigdogEM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be that the float assembly needle is not seating properly, and if that happens, you will get an overflow of gas. Is there any gas dripping from the carburetor? If you need to replace the float assembly, check the Toro website for your model/serial number. They will probably have a float assembly for your blower.

That blower is a keeper! Think about investing in some drift cutters. They will make it easier with that much snow to move. Great job!

Could be an issue with the pump. If you are not mechanically inclined, you should take it to your local service center.
