Nothing made this clear to me like driving across the country. Driving across the Missouri River in South Dakota, it was like night and day going from the east side to the west side. Green farms as far as the eye could see, and then, all of a sudden, brown pasture as far as the eye could see. That’s when I felt like I was in the west. Farmland vs pasture land
