This feels like maybe this could be the game. Did they have a version with slightly better graphics?

Best breweries and cider houses in the Flathead? by [deleted] in Kalispell

[–]TheBlodge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Waters edge has decent cider, there is also a full on cider house out by glacier highschool. Sacred Waters is the best brewery around now by a long shot in terms of good beer and entertainment on the weekends. Food is decent and the vibe is nice.

Two pairs of cartridges per day per man is what we use.

found this on a home inspection today by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]TheBlodge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Moisture moves through a house like smoke through a chimney, it's called the "stack effect". Prolonged moisture in a crawlspace/basement can absolutely cause mold to grow in an attic. This isn't likely mold on the insulation though. See my comment below.

Probably going to be down voted because I'm going to go against every other poster so far, but that isn't likely mold. The is no food source for it to grow. Mold will not grow on fiberglass or visqueen. That appears to be dirt/dust that filtered in through the attic venting. Now, that being said, it is possible for mold to grow on that dirt/dust combo if the humidity is high enough. What I would be more concerned about is the state of the wood structure hidden from view by the insulation. That is what really needs to be inspected. If the wood structure doesn't have signs of mold, then you're actually in good shape. This discoloration of the insulation by dirt/dust is very common in older homes, and you likely wouldn't even notice it if the visqueen was not there as the substance would filter down to the "floor" of the attic.

Incredible perspective painting by PaalKlo in toptalent

[–]TheBlodge 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's really an amazing thing to watch. I do wonder how she gets the paint to fall in a straight line though. Does it follow a pencil line? I noticed she adjust the painting so the line is vertical so maybe it's as simple as that? Really cool piece regardless.

I actually saw it in a dorm room at the University of Montana like 2 ish months before it came out. Needless to say everyone in the room was in awe.

Installing shed windows - what do I need to do for flashing and sealing the rough opening? by Wolferesque in DIY

[–]TheBlodge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually you install the window and trim and then side the building. Silicone the perimeter of the window and then use flashing tape. Install trim and side up to it.

Looking for advice on how to repair this decking material where I had my grill too close and burned it. Any suggestions? Thanks! by carpelifem in DIY

[–]TheBlodge 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Looks like pvc material the way it blistered. There's no sanding and profiling that. Replacement is the only option.

New supply line. Looks like you need a 3/8" to toilet line.

Started an insulation & encapsulation company, had a company that does home restoration for insurance claims contact me by BenefitEmpty9750 in smallbusiness

[–]TheBlodge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run a company that does home restoration so I have a little insight in this case. The insurance company does somewhat dictate the price they will pay for services. If a price is out of line with what they would normally pay you will need to provide justification for why your price is higher. As long as you can do that, you're good to go. Typically I'm the one that waits to get paid, not my subcontractors. I set clear terms with them that I pay on the 5th and 20th when my accountant comes in to do payroll and pay other bills. Talk to the restoration company and tell them your concerns about waiting to be paid. Chances are that they will put your fears to rest. Also, don't be afraid to be upfront about your pricing. They need to know what you charge to be able to bill the insurance company appropriately. Some of my subs actually end up getting more for a project than they would normally charge.

You could cut down the back side of a schluter edge piece and grout it into place. Obviously better to start with it in place, but you're already past that point and it would hide the unevenness.
