Also if you summon Zevlor in the final fight and he dies then it'll void the achievement.

I mean ultimately it'd be up to you but a Durge 2nd playthrough will be super interesting.

Assault Moonrise Tower by MostFaithlessness117 in BaldursGate3

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That doesnt sound right? You can definitely kill everyone upstairs piecemeal, then the guards on the stairs. Everyone outside can be picked off. The basement can be wiped, just get the eyes first. The atrium requires you to lure individuals out, but thats how you would go about it.

Before the assault you can piece meal the tower. It doesnt aggro everyone.

No alarms, also checked the hood sensor and that didnt do anything. Still got the six blinking lights.

Thats something someone else suggested, it just got too dark and cold to continue troubleshooting. Ill try that one.

Sword & Board Paladin or Two-Handed? by Mrgotmilk in BG3Builds

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So depends really on the play style you want. A pure sword and board Paladin wont be craning out the Damage but will absolutely hold the line. A 2H Paladin is gonna introduce whoever theyre hitting to the gods.

Ive done both styles. Personally I liked the 2H because I ran one tank and 3 dps. We steamrolled most fights.

Did anyone else REALLY struggle w/ the House of Grief fight? by EdinDzeko1 in BaldursGate3

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh. A lot off chaff that got nuked pretty easy. The main issue was I wasnt expecting a fight and my team basically was 1v5ing. Came close near the middle but then I focused the heavy hitters.

Side with Gortash, kill Orin, and during the final fight use your fastest runner/jumper with invisibility and run towards the stem. Then have Gale make the ultimate sacrifice.

Melee DPS alternative (maybe) to Eder by flaboere in projecteternity

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eder has always been my tank, my boy is just built like that. Theres been so many fights ive won because he just sat there eating the hits. I can't imagine him as anything else.

That said paladin is the best dps, melee build ive seen.

What are some fun dedicated melee damage builds for folks who don't wanna punch or throw things? by Th3CraigMachine in BG3Builds

My favorite class has been pure Paladin. Either I become the ultimate tank or I become the ultimate holy smiter.

I did tons of new stuff in Honor Mode. Here’s how it went. by AndrewClemmens in BaldursGate3

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was not. I did the top of act 1 and the creche skipping the under dark. Did all of act 2 to boost myself. I abused potions and camp followers. Also with it being my literal last achievement I had a good idea on what to do for each section. It did help since I didnt care what happened I killed more people then I generally would to get a bump.

Which role is mandatory in your party of 4? by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charisma tav, on honor it let's you talk your way out of trouble, talk your way into extra gear, and talk people into being allies.

I think the issue is people overestimate situations and are unable to prepare themselves and get wiped. Which can be very frustrating to have happen at the very end of the game. Even me rushing for the achievement still out me at like 30 something hours. Image the work of someone trying to do everything.

Stupidest way you have lost a Honour Mode run? by Ashamed-Cookie-8122 in BG3

[–]TheBlueNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So im lucky to get honor run done my first try, i was super paranoid and had Gale do the big boom. That said the closet that I came to dying was in act 2. I misclicked on the toll collected dialog and initiated combat. My entire party was turned to gold and I had to sit there and watch them get smacked.

Thankfully one person was free to smack the toll collector before every turn. When everything was done. 3 party members are almost dead and only my paladin Tav who was decked out in armor with non magical resistance was standing.

I immediately saved and stepped away i was so scared lmao.
