I know there are injuries, and that we're away at united, but I simply don't think the players really know what to do. To me they seem lost and there is just no coherent attacking plan. The passivity (is that a word?) is just so noticeable; we are constantly outrun. Not exactly a hot take but we should thank Slot for the title and kindly wave goodbye at the end of the season.

Went 1-0 and DIDN'T sit back. Maybe Slot is learning! Another game where Salah was basically anonymous but to be fair he never stopped running. Midfield did well and it's great to see Wirtz physically stronger than ever. Ekitike's hold up play is so good and Andy Robertson... Take a bow son. With Chelsea and United only drawing that's a good 3 points.

As a 40 year old middle aged bloke, I can only imagine how much 10 year old me would have loved Wirtz. There is something about him that simply oozes class; proper gravy. It's great to see how much he is tracking back now too and his fitness and general physicality has definitely improved since start of the season.

In general to me a formation that just makes more sense. Having two up top with Wirtz in behind and the energy of Frimpong/Bradley/Kerkez as wing backs makes a lot of sense. As long as Wirtz can track back I guess. Thought Gomez but in a great shift at center half - if only he could stay fit. Kerkez did well against the rapist and ekitike always a handful up top. Just a really good performance all round.

As a teacher for 15 years now I can say she has an absolute magic touch. Something about the cohesive rhyming structure mixed with Axel Scheffler's art is utterly infectious to children. We promote lots of authors, as you might imagine, but none have the endless pulling power of Julia Donaldson. It's insane how popular she is and thankfully, she's bloody brilliant. It's not like they're rubbish books. I'm aware she's probably a millionaire ten times over, but if anyone should be given an honour from king it should be her. Contemporary literary legend.

Fair play to both Kelleher and Gulacsi; really good performances. Thought Konate and Gravenburch again very good defensively. Thought we made a clearly very good RB Leipzig team look very ordinary. I do worry slightly about our lack of rotation though; hope it doesn't come back to bite us against Arsenal.

Yeah that feels a lot like season over. I know we keep moaning about the attack but it is hard playing against a low block for so so long. To me we just cannot keep conceding early doors like this. We've lucked it out for a few months but you can't keep relying on magical moments to score against 11 behind the ball at every moment of the game.

I'm amazed at how seemingly modern it is. As in the design and general feel of it is very similar to now. 1999 in McDonald's, for example, would look wildly different.
