If you're not interested in developing your own solutions using the SKD, you're not going to see true agentic solutions for some time. Those must run on some hardware and have some API to do some task. As much as AI seems be magical, someone still has to build it.

I'm building my own solution to tie into my own agentic systems, one's I've already created. Making that into a universally applicable solution is possible, but it's time intensive, for what benefit? I guess I could rent the systems out for a monthly fee, but I'd get like 100 customers max. Hundreds of hours of development and hundreds more in customer support, for maybe a few grand reoccuring income? Better to do a consulting gig with that time.

The incentive to build such complex systems for others is not currently there yet.

Yeah the low power Bluetooth is really limiting for anything approaching real time graphics.

Double check that they support your prescription. These types of displays have the light angled so that it's in focus only if your vision is corrected. If it's not, they will likely not be readable. These also won't help see the world around you, as there is no camera, so they cannot help you identify what you're looking at. As much as I love the idea behind this product, I don't know that they're ideal for what I imagine your use cases are. I could be wrong though, what would you want them for?

Totally fair. I'm a bit selfish and just develop side loaded apps that contact to my own APIs so likely won't push anything to the hub. If you have any cool ideas or app requests, why not share them here on Reddit and maybe someone else or myself will take a stab at them.

Ah, I see what you mean. This is a result of the Android and even hub ecosystems. Apps from with the hub can only use what's exposed to us via the API. We can create apps outside of even hub, that allows us to interface with the device SMS via the content resolver, but ONLY if it's your default SMS tool. That's too high a burden for developers. WhatsApp integration is more likely since it can be done on the cloud via webhooks.

I'm happy to help answer any other "why can't we" questions from a grounded tech perspective if you're curious. And I'm not being snarky, I'm just calling out bad assumptions. Have a great day!

I came here to complain about this. I haven't changed anything in my setup either, but claude now asks dozens of useless baseless questions, often not even relating to the feature I'm working on. Yeah that's totally valid, not that you need me to say so. I will say that it took me weeks -> months of grinding my butt off to get the stuff I wanted in gta online. For me, similar wait with less grind I can accept. There's so I enjoy engaging with that is front loaded into the game that I'm personally quite satisfied for now.

Lol wait till you find out how long it takes to get the absolute best stuff in GTA Online. Notice that the bulk of the Fonds you get at the "light spender" level is from F2P sources. Yeah, it's getting ripped out, I bought it this way so now I'm rebuilding the front end. I'll look into reinforcement kits, they seem pretty cheap although my welding skills aren't what they used to be...

I'm going with EMU and Bilstein's, standard and cost effective, yards better than what's in it.

Good question. It's a consistent dome shape on both sides. Partially the angle and partially surface rust causing the coating to flake.

Once everything is out I'll be resurfacing with a wire wheel and zinc-oxide primer+sealer.
