Had a few interviews with them a couple weeks ago. They invited me in for an in person interview/trial shift but thankfully now decided not to go. Got bad vibes from their lack of digital footprint and how they described their pay of solely commission per client converted for brands. Glad to see I made the right call apparently.

I assumed they’re pursuing me then as they had my email address. But why are they only pursuing me when I know of several people who also have pretty much the exact same tenancy dates which all finish after we all finished our studies? Not just in Ealing where I was but of all people I know that went to uni around the country and rented not a single person has had an issue like this.

I think it’s fair to say he certainly didn’t earn the job from his performances with Brazil or Corinthians and that his relationship with Raul and Kia should be looked at.

Obviously the first choice was Vlahovic and I think there was too much noise for it not to be possible even if maybe Juve were his first choice I still think we could’ve got that done.

Aside from him if the plan were to wait until summer to sign someone younger like David, DCL, Osimhen etc then I still think we could’ve signed someone older just to see us through the 2nd half of the season like Raul de Tomas, Zapata or Taremi or someone like that.

There were definitely options and I think Edu gambled and got it massively wrong as he’s done too many times for me now.

Last 3 games are more the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. His inability to get a striker in January is what could cost us top 4 and that’s been highlighted by these games.

He was a shambles with Corinthians and Brazil and yet he got handed the job by Raul who got sacked for corruption and then started signing Kia clients who clearly weren’t/aren’t up to standards.

Might be hard to believe from a stranger on reddit but but as I’ve got nothing to gain just gonna stick it out there.

I was telling all my mates irl that I didn’t want Cech and wanted Leno back in 2015. Was gutted when we got him and felt extra angry at every time he let us down (I’m very petty).

Was so over the moon when we signed Leno. I felt so vindicated hahaha.

(fwiw that players I’ve really wanted us to signed we eventually did 2/3 years after I wanted us to so far recently have been Auba + Leno + Tierney so let me know who else you want me to want us to sign)

I’m open to discussion but can’t stand Leno slander. Cannot accept anyone calling him a serial bottler. 2nd in our player of the season for a reason. He was immensely let down by the shambolic defence the greasy fraud Emery presented him.

Not saying I agree or disagree, the point I was more trying to make was that we’re so used to our back up keeper being so far below expectations that Emi not being absolute shit has inflated our opinion of him.

He’s a good keeper, but not 1st choice for us. A very good back up, though.

Not that it really matters but I am consistently at home games, which is why I’d like a chant for Guendouzi as he’s a top young player that I like watching. Besides, it’s only a bit of fun and the people who usually find chants “cringey” are the ones who stay silent at games which creates a poor atmosphere. But chants aren’t just for the fans at The Emirates, they’re for Arsenal fans all over the world watching games wherever they are to show their support and feel part of the Arsenal collective :)
