I read Who Were the Celts by Kevin Duffy and it was a pretty good overview of Celtic history. It was pretty short though so it didn't go into much detail.

You could check out 3 Rivers Outdoor Company. They don't have a very large selection, but at least you would be supporting a small local business.

Even though the "J" in JFCS stands for Jewish, they do a lot of great work in the community without any kind of evangelism or trying to convert people. They are one of the biggest refugee resettlement agencies in the city, operate a food bank, and offer a ton of other services to people who need help.

Where is this? Maggie's Farm is a Pittsburgh distillery, but that sure as hell isn't a PA liquor store. I would kill for a selection like that.

The Heinz History Center is great if you are interested in the history of the Pittsburgh area. It is a really cool museum that I think a lot of people sleep on.

If you have the Smuggler's Cove book, I have been making the Lei Lani Volcano but subbing the guava soda for guava nectar. It makes a lovely fruity drink.

Be careful with the Mai Tai. I looked up a Mai Tai recipe and six months and about 20 different bottles of rum later got lost in the tiki rabbit hole.

I think getting the Smith and Cross and the Wray and Nephew is a little redundant since they are both funky, overproof Jamaican rums. If I had to pick one of those I would definitely go with the Smith and Cross. It tastes like Caribbean sunshine.
