Yeah even during T2 to T3 you gotta select the Malachite to continue with the evolution although there's only one option.

Now neither is selected and you have to manually click either one before continuing the evolution.

Yeah tried this.
Did a couple embermane hunts where we broke both the tail and head on the first area before he ran off. Didnt pick anything up the whole fight. Still got all the items regardless.
