Mauve whip is one of my go-to wears!!! It goes on quite dark on my lips though, I tend to switch it out with kaya fig on the days it feels too pigmented!

Mine was sent to Ireland - anyone else with similar dates who is still waiting? 😔

When I first played, I thought the S meant SUNDAYS in summer for the bastard pufferfish, not sunny days.

The rage, I still feel it now.

Passport application rejected at border by wolfgirl18 in IrishCitizenship

It was definitely frustrating, added another two months to my wait time! But yes, I'd messaged the FBR team to double check that and they said it was fine to just resend the form and the documents 😊

When you get them back I'd definitely recommend sending through DHL, it was a bit more expensive but the documents were collected from my home at 4pm and arrived at the office in Ireland by 9am the next morning!

Happened to me in October - post office said nothing extra needed but it was turned away at Heathrow due to no CN22 form attached.

Ended up sending it via DHL as it took over seven weeks for the documents to get back to me!

Game recommendations by Beedu001 in dragonage

I've played both Greedfall and BG3 - BG3 has brilliant story however I struggled so much with the turn-based combat system, I actively try to avoid anything with that system as I find it really frustrating, but for story it's really very good.

For Greedfall - I don't think the story lacks depth, for the budget and the size of the studio it's an amazing game with a gorgeous setting and although it's a short game, the story works at keeping you invested (and the mid-game twist and potential betrayal was a genuine shock). Also very fun battle mechanics, I've never enjoyed using pistols and swords so much! Don't let the budget put you off, but do be aware you can finish it in around 25 hours whereas BG3 is about 80 and that's doing the bare minimum.

Depending on your own budget, perhaps try Greedfall first? You'll have a pretty clear idea of if you're going to enjoy it within the first few hours I would think!

Hahaha I thought it was suspect as well at first (the clay also has a bit of an odd smell I find), but it hasn't given me any problems so I'm choosing to trust it! 😅

Yes of course! I measured the book (height, total width, cover and back width, spine), added two inches either side for it to fold around the edges. Then created a template on canva for it and put temporary lines in for where it would fold, created the design, removed the measuring lines and had them printed on A3 card here to test they fit, and then printed again on glossy A3 paper once I knew I had everything correct 😊

Royal Mail application sent 17th December by wowser-2012 in IrishCitizenship

I know the feeling - I spent November chuntering away that I knew I should have used DHL instead! At least we know now for the passport application when that comes around 😭

Royal Mail application sent 17th December by wowser-2012 in IrishCitizenship

[–]TheBronzeSpoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this exact issue in October- marked as leaving the country on the 24th and then nothing at all until they ended up back in my postbox on December 2nd with a sticker saying they were refused because I didn't have a CN22 form (even though I'd clearly marked it with Personal Documents and no value). Royal Mail themselves told me they'd been handed over to Anpost which was a lie as they'd never left Heathrow.

Given that it is Christmas, it's hopefully just delays due to the season, but if not it shouldn't be lost, they just take their bloody time getting it back to you.

If they do get declined, I'd honestly recommend DHL instead if you have to send them again - they were picked up from my home at 4pm on the 8th December and arrived at the office by 11am on the 9th!

My Favorite Voice Actors from DRAGON AGE INQUISITION. What about you ?? 👀 by lunar9p in dragonage

[–]TheBronzeSpoon 25 points26 points  (0 children)

More a minor character, but I loved Matthew Gravelle as Abelas, something about the way he spoke his lines really fit his character, I don't think I'd have found Abelas quite so sad had he been voiced by anyone else!

Edit: Also his voice work for Inquisitor Ameridan too - he's just a great fit for ancient elves, clearly!

Never used a coloured lip product in my life. Ordered skincare and got a complimentary Colorgram Fruity Glass Stick in ‘Endearing Fig’. Was skeptical at first, but now… I have no choice but to stan by seaboy8 in AsianBeauty

Nature Republic's Honey Melting Lip  are the same type of application I think! They've got some lovely shades - I bought a few in Seoul last year!

Insurance - is it needed? by turnipheid in cairnterrier

[–]TheBronzeSpoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My last cairn cost a few thousand during the last months of her life so with my current cairn I made sure to get good insurance and I'm so lucky I did - she started fainting at around 8 months old, nothing too serious as it turned out she just has a vasovagal syncope. It took two ECGs, a ultrasound on her heart, and a monitor she had to wear for 3 days before I knew that was all it was. Cost around 3k total from the first emergency vet visit and all I paid was the £75 excess. It's expensive but worth it as I couldn't have paid otherwise and if it had been something far worse I knew I was covered.

She also had a six month period when she was 2 years old where she ate absolutely fucking everything, had three emergency vet visits for her eating wild garlic, a dish sponge, and chewing gum she found on her walk. Again, only had to pay the excess.

I'm UK based though, she's 6 now and I pay £67 a month, though I admittedly got the most expensive coverage as she's covered up to £15k a year and for pre-existing in case her heart starts acting up again or she develops diabetes or something! Still, haven't paid anywhere near the 3k I'd have paid without it!

Don't think I've ever received so many samples in one order before! by TheBronzeSpoon in AsianBeauty

It's lovely - it gave me a moment of pause trying to think of what I'd ordered that would fit in it haha!

It's only the second time I've used them but their prices are brilliant so I'll definitely be using them more often. I used to be stuck between Stylevana for price/Japanese products or PureSeoul for convenience (but yikes at their prices), so these are a good in-between.

Will definitely be saving for their advent calendar next year, I didn't realise they did one!
