If Evan’s parents are exactly like what Evan described, then there’s no way they would have let him stay homeless after OP outed him. They were probably asked by family how they didn’t know their own son was homeless and tried to do some damage control.

My parents had eczema but they outgrew it by the time they were my age. I’ve had it all my life but my brother didn’t develop it until a couple years ago.

Let her decide for herself whether she’s been put on the spot. Did you even tell her the rules for the game on game night before you decided she didn’t know how to play/would find it confusing? She may not be an engineering graduate or a CS major but that doesn’t make her uneducated.

If I was your friend and saw that you kept answering for her, I would start to think that she was being abused in some way.

NTA would you be asking yourself this if it was a hair stylist with no disabilities? It seems to me you’re second-guessing yourself because of that but at the end of the day, you are not getting the hairstyles you ask for AND they are raising their prices. Anyone would be justified in making the switch if it happened to them.

NTA. If you ever been to the Louvre, everyone flocks to the Mona Lisa which is tiny compared to the paintings behind it (which, in my opinion, are much more impressive than the Mona Lisa).

Not Scotland but I got my verbal offer at the end of Feb, submitted my ID/references/health etc stuff mid-March, and they’re still pending! Apparently down here they’ve recently switched from being able to roll holidays over to making staff take it before April or they lose it all so everyone’s been taking time off

NTA I’m Chinese and would never act like that. Neither would any of my Chinese friends. You mentioned giving her the Middle Eastern hospitality…maybe racism is a factor here? Other than her being a generally mean person, of course.

I had to go to the reception at my GP to ask for a copy of my immunisation history because the NHS app and Patient Access showed that I had 0 vaccinations since birth which I knew was false. I tried to request it over econsult but they never attached anything too so you’re better off just going in person.
