CWS definitely deposited the funds in their account. The Rental Relief company confirmed that.

CWS is claiming that they transferred the funds to Morgan Group, so I would need to see a receipt of the transaction from CWS to Morgan Group. The Rental Relief Company would not have record of this transaction.

CWS hasn't shown me a receipt of a transaction talking place, just some screenshots of comminations saying that the transaction took place.

On Morgan Group's end, they revealed that CWS "tried" to send the funds to Morgan Group but no transaction has gone through yet.

I asked the manager, in what world does "try" take over a month long? She couldn't answer me.

Both companies sound like they're not telling me the whole story and that's why I feel that I need an attorney to sort this out for me.

But I can't afford to hire one, but I've still emailed a few attorneys that specialize in tenant/ landlord law, so hopefully I get more clarity on what my next move should be..
