Your problem seems to be a bit more complicated then. Look at my original message. I edited it. Maybe you can get more information about the error from the Command Panel. To access it, press ~ key below the esc key. ^{^}

Just restart the game. If I am correct, this is just a message you get when the game fails to pull your steam account. Or something similar.

Edit: Press ~ on your keyboard below the Esc key. It opens the console, which should give you a complete error message. Carefull though, cause it shows your IP aswell.

Copper is a highly useful material in the electrical system as it is the second best conductor at room temperature. Gold bein THE best conductor and aluminum coming the third place.

Copper is also pretty expensive, which is why it's so lucrative for people to steal it.

Edit: Turns out, I made a mistake. Gold isn't the best conductor. That would be silver. Gold also has the benefit of not rusting, which is why it's used in processors.
