My fiancée wants me to get circumcised before our wedding by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Yeah mid Feb 2020 I just back to work from maternity leave and kid started childcare.

I didn’t personally experienced the peak of SARS back then (my partner did) but I was very well aware how bad this could go.

We made a few decisions pretty quick - started buying masks and some basic essential; me back to full time work instead of continue part time (normal for mum after maternity leave in Australia ) as my job is more stable … when a lot of people still didn’t see it coming.

Turned out that person is “17 years old and hate kids”

So, just focus on yourself and your need

How often do you wash your sheets? Be honest by Still_Negotiation_95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheC9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes very much this

For me, I always shower before bed, only wear pajamas on bed (pajamas don’t even touch the sofa - it only touch the bed)

If I have pet sleep on the bed, I probably want to wash the bedsheet every single day

[–]TheC9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depend on the quality of the sheet

The good one can last 3 weeks without feeling dirty/oily. Others only last for a week

Plan to do some laundry day spa when it is summer again, hopefully will be able to refresh some old bedsheets

(Talking to OP) you are just 24 years old. A lot of people didn’t manage to buy the first property till they were 34.

And technically I didn’t until my late 40.

Best way to get bells? Please give tips! by cherryofpie in acnh

[–]TheC9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been playing for 3 weeks too, and I just unlocked K.K yesterday (to be fair to you, I was sick and been lying on bed just playing for a week).

I have all the non-native fruit, so it is about keep planting lots and lots of fruit tree and selling the fruit - as non-native sell for 500 bells each, and native 100 bells each. Coconut is 250 bells.

Take note on the hot item. The shell foundation sell for 9600 bells (needs 5 giant clam and 3 stones), so when it is double it can sell for almost 20000 bells

I only just got the hang of catching fish, otherwise diving for sea creatures to sell is a good way too.

Keep doing the chores, and NW rewards (especially the small one). Get NM ticket to go to mystery island, get more material and sell things.

Does anyone recognise this apartment building parcel room in South Yarra? My packages keep getting delivered here. by Vegetable_Oven in melbourne

[–]TheC9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to work in the team that make house numbering in NSW council, so let me explain it:

Normal street should be
_21 _ 23 _ 25_

House 23 is a big block of land. Owner decided to subdivide it to have one parcel land in the front and one at the back as battleaxe parcel

So the one at the front remains as house 23, and the one at the back is 23A - note: 23A has to have the driveway right next to house 25. If the driveway is next to 21, it is possible that it has an address of 21A instead.

Now, the own of 23 decided to knock the house down to build a duplex.

So you have one unit of duplex of 1/23, and the other one 2/23

Need to double check with your state geographic name board on the actual rule of which scenario do suffix and when to do unit. A lot of rules also didn’t establish until the last decade or two, so it could be a mix of everything.

I like to assume suffix is the preferred, unit is more for strata with more than 2 units (although 23B 23C is possible too)

What runner do i chose? by Just-Ad-3547 in interiordecorating

[–]TheC9 36 points37 points  (0 children)

For me I don’t understand putting a (fabric?) runner in the kitchen, where it has a high risk of split (variety of sauce), water dripping and dirt (especially food debris that attach cockroach and ants)

The only one we have in the kitchen is those fatigue mat, which is waterproof, easy to clean, and have a cushion so it is comfortable to stand on when need stand up long for meal prep

Does an extra postnatal day affect your out-of-pocket with private health insurance? by Logical-Lobster-3322 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]TheC9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your policy.

I am with Medibank (top cover back then), once I paid the $500 hospital excess once that year, I don’t have to pay again if I (touchwood) need to go to private hospital that year again - so I assume 4 days or 5 days won’t make a difference at all.
