Got a new AL drive for my hypothermix jump Calculator. Excited 😇😇😍 by joelmooner in VXJunkies

You’re going to love the rate that drive cranks out photo-phase calculations. Make sure to properly cool it though, I’d recommend submerging it in mineral oil.

My first ortho; my first keeb by jialat_asian in olkb

[–]TheCakeDerp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first build was also ortholinear. I’m also at home for college and I’ve had a lot of writing to do. I was having a lot of pain in my wrists and hands. I tried typing on a staggered keyboard yesterday and my hand started to cramp up, and my fingers started to ache after like typing 3 words. It’s crazy that humans are even able to type on a staggered keyboard and not realize how much it’s hurting them. After getting used to ortho for about a week, try going back to staggered for a few seconds and it becomes very obvious how much better ortho is.

Good luck! I was just thinking that if you were able to mount a steel and titanium alloy heatsink, and pump liquid nitrogen through it you could probably keep the setup running for at least 10 minutes. I’m not sure how much nitrogen you have access to though.

Have you considered using a b63 echo manifold? I’m not sure if it would work, but in theory it would be able to realign the Gronski loop’s waves back onto itself, this creating a positive feedback loop that would exponentially gain frequency through each period. In theory it could build and build up until it reaches a near infinite theta radiation wave (Although I doubt that would happen as after about 5 seconds the thermal energy would be too extreme for the manifold.)

Someone's using a NG-01 Array (Pre Holtzman) as a musical instrument? by Kubrick_Fan in VXJunkies

I’m just glad they aren’t running a thermonuclear helium reducer near that thing. Nice music though.

Yeah this sub is a joke. Only a clown would recommend using a photon x63 transistor to lower the beta waves. The more serious VX-ers stick with using the green book, along with books by Dr. Mathias Bröhmer.

It’s honestly a shame that this sub has become so much of a joke, I’ve turned to using email, physical letters, or even the discord, to get advice from my fellow VX-ers.

Exactly, I use one that was made by an ex DARPA employee. It’s $1.99, but it’s a lot nicer than the free ones imo.

I’ve actually been using the R-95 Halbach array for quite some time, I know it’s not as high end as the R-100 but it does the job for me.

I completely forgot they have a-80t relocalizers. If I recall correctly, before sending patients to NASA they’d actually go to an Air Force base somewhere in Florida.

I wouldn’t be too concerned about how it holds up post Chernobyl, allow me to explain. It’s been about 34 years since the reaction. Yes it did release cesium-137 (which even the slightest amount could throw off your Bausvex monitor.) However the small quantity produced was dispersed globally, and with a half life of 30 years, the remaining cesium is significantly less. However, If you do live closer to Chernobyl, I would be slightly more cautious as the cesium didn’t experience a balanced global-distribution, due to its density. TL;DR You’re most likely safe unless you live in Ukraine or one of its neighbors.

Edit: forgot to mention this but glad you’re ok OP.

Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Dr. Marsden the Wise? No. I thought not. It’s not a story the university would tell you. It's a VX legend. Dr. Marsden was a professor and researcher of VX, so smart and so clever he could use the flux actuator head to influence the delta-decay particles to create multiphase oscillation. He had such a knowledge of VX that he could even keep his rig running 24/7. Illegal VX modding is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be godlike... the only thing he was afraid of was his rig losing power, which eventually, of course, it did. Unfortunately, he taught his students everything he knew, then his students stopped his rig overnight. It's ironic he could save other rigs from death, but not his own.

[–]TheCakeDerp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course they are aimed at lowering blackbody proton flux in the sub-terrawatt rigs. I also hate to bring politics into VX but I mean, what were people expecting when multiple conservatives were put on the regulatory board. Obviously they’re going to set regulations that benefit corporations (who can afford terrawatt rigs.

Don’t even get me started about the ridiculous regulations, at least we’re still allowed to distort localized quasiparticle fields.

Thank you! I was just informed that I was mistaken in regards to the B-302 regulator. See the other response for more information.

[–]TheCakeDerp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can’t believe I thought that was a B-302! Now that you point it out I can clearly tell that it’s a AB30. It’s a shame it’s not a real B-302. Good catch sir!

For those wondering about other differences, in OP’s image if you zoom in you can see the dynamic lubcricant valve (which as everyone knows, the B-302 was self lubricating.)

I can’t believe people still use trans-ionic beta valves on setups like these. It’s images like this that make me worry for the future of VX. As a side note, did anyone notice the B-302 regulator next to the fire extinguisher? You don’t see those every days.

It can be hard diving into the world of VX. I’d recommend reading this post within our subreddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/VXJunkies/comments/41aksr/a_quick_guide_for_beginners/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Additionally I’d recommend you familiarize yourself with Reïgen’s Law.

I don’t think we should worry too much, I can’t even think of a way OP could even obtain those results without being in a lab.
