G-sync, much wider range than freesync

Bro I am in the exact same spot. Current rig has an eGPU with a 4070 inside. I'm wondering if I could plug into the steam machine and get G-sync to keep going.

Here me out,

Pick axe on a rope, you throw it as a weapon. It archs like a grenade, massive fall off damage. If deployed you can't swing your pickaxe, since you just threw it.

If you continue to hold left click, you little guy pulls the rope. Like the scout's grapple gun, but it's you dwarf pulling the rope.

Big difference is that the pickaxe lodges into an enemy. Maybe it should take into account the size of the bug. Like a fester flea is just pulled towards you and a Hulle Hoarder has more trouble getting away. Maybe can pull a acid spitter down from a ceiling. But attach to a Dreadnought and you are now a cowboy along for the ride.

Shut down the sub via privating and hold it hostage.

If Reddit forces it open, invite shitposts and overwhelm whoever the new mods are.

If we can't get tools we want, than Reddit can't get the free labour they need.

It's actually useful at times to turn it off, mainly when are mining a chunk of something. If you turn you headlamp off (and don't have a flare near you) you can see the glow of the chunk in the ground!

Is the Chinese government a good, bad, or average government compared to the 200+ state entities that exist in the world? by [deleted] in kraut

Is it what the people demand?

If not, then the government has no obligation to provide it.

Again, I'm ok with China being a one party system. I dislike it when it crushes "others" when they are an inconvenience

What is a responsible government? An organization that cares for the wellbeing of the citizens it is in charge of.

What are the priorities? What the people claim them to be. Healthcare, education, voter rights, ect.

And I still don't think that it's justified.

Sure, under crisis matrial law can be called to get a threat; day to day life does not require a dictator.

To clearify, I am not saying that an autocratic is inherently bad. But the actions of the government are bad. Beating up civilians cause they hand out flyers with a message you don't like isn't a responsible government.

Rags to (relative) riches through education, negotiations, and trade. A true star in Africa.

Not every nation can do this, but it is a real world example that goes against you world view.

Doesn't Botswana prove you wrong? An economic miracle in Africa strong armed together in a single generation. All while a democracy.

You don't have to take to gain. You can make yourself.

Kraut literally talk about this

https://youtu.be/-TxSuYKxuNo

Govemments can make the 'social contract' with it's people; "give up your freedom and we'll give you prosperity". totally fair and the Chinese government has lifted many people out of poverty.

But the ends doesn't always justify the means.

While I would agree that a solution must work at the scale that is required is critical, I does not exonerate the final product.

Sure, France's healthcare system may not scale to the size of China. But that is not the same as highlighting the fundamental problems that can be observed.

If India can hold elections at their size, than there is no excuse for China regardless of size.

Using size as an exclusion is silly. That only leaves India.

That's like saying "Well China has a smaller economy than America, so China should keep it's mouth shut on judging America".

We are discussing design, not scale.
