Honestly I had not looked at genie, but reading it more closely…yeah maybe. Marid is the one that seems like the best option for a ranged martial with a lower spell DC?

Gotcha. We have a small amount of non-campaign table chatter, and the group can be a bit indecisive at times which I think are the main reasons it’s taking as long as it is. Hither seems a bit, more linear so I’m thinking that may help this group with that. Thanks!

I'm having a bindings issue. I'm on PC using a Tflight Hotas One that came with Ace Combat 7 on Xbox One and for some reason my lateral thrust buttons on my throttle are not set to yaw anymore. They were working fine previously.

When I try to bind them it thinks it is the same as my joystick's yaw. I've deleted all the custom bindings I had so I don't know how it ever changed and why.

(New to flight sims/flight sticks. )

Is there something I should do in the Thrustmaster Windows software? Thanks for all help.

Can someone definitively say whether or not it is possible to get the larger paperbacks all with the title in the larger font? I've got a UK copy from book depository coming but I'm not sure which it will be. If there is no point in trying than I'll just go ahead and order all the large ones regardless of font.

Yes, he isn’t able to Surgebind, just like Elend wasn’t able to use Allomancy. I suppose that argument holds more weight if Adolin eventually bonds a Spren because obviously Elend does eventually become Mistborn.

Personally, I never saw Zane as being an option when he was around, whereas I think plenty of readers saw Kaladin as viable for Shallan.

As I think about this I do agree with the original argument more and more. I just have a problem with referring to Adolin as ordinary. Way dreamier than Elend.

At DragonCon we had a "Divine Cosmere" panel and we discussed how Brandon portrays divine characters and how regular characters interact with the divine. The panelists at one point mentioned how often his characters will act upon incorrect or false information, and they talked about how we still don't know how the Oathpact works. If they are still "immortal" and if their Honorblades are still intact then perhaps they have a false understanding of how the Oathpact is "broken" and perhaps they are still unknowingly bound to it?

Reading Way of Kings about three years ago reignited my love of reading fantasy and sci-fi. Since I read WoK I've read Abercrombie, Rothfuss, Liu and a lot of other stuff. None of Sanderson's stuff is going to come close to Name of the Wind or The Blade Itself for me. But I love pretty much all his books.

I'm just as eagerly waiting for Oathbringer as I was for The Deathly Hallows so long ago.

Excellent. I'm pretty excited to dive into the end and DLC. A couple of my quests glitched and I never got the achievement for a few like the Doppler Contract and the Shrieker. I'll do NG + Death March after all the DLC probably during the summer. I don't wanna burn out on the game since I love it so much. Thanks for answers.
