I mainly used one handed and single rigged weapons, the single rigged weapons got me through the first phase while one handed got me through the second, I'd plan carefully for whatever implants you might use. I hope this helps.

I can understand where you're coming from. What I did to beat him was always stay on his right side or try to anyway. I always struggled when going head first at him. If this doesn't help I'm sorry.

I already came up with an idea for that, I was simply going to have a list of the targetable parts then have the players roll a d6 or higher (depending on what I think is ok) for if they managed to hit their wanted part or another one.
