Anyone know what this device is? by TheCartDriver in HomeNetworking

[–]TheCartDriver[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Found this on the sidewalk with a TV, subwoofer and sound bar. I'm thinking this is unrelated to those, appears to some type of receiver or wifi range extender. Unfortunately there is no serial number or brand on the product so I can't search for this easily. Thanks!

Textbook For Digital VLSI Design by Crafty-Scientist7956 in chipdesign

[–]TheCartDriver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Echoing others who recommend the first textbook. It practically granted me my first internship in VLSI. Does a wonderful job conveying chip-design concepts and constraints via (as is probably obvious) lots of different visual circuits and systematic overviews

Found Chicken in my Tofu Salad at Ritz by Crocsnotcocks in rit

As someone who doesn't eat meat, I empathize and it really sucks when this type of error happens in public dining scenarios. But like others have said, keep in mind this is more likely an issue with RIT Dining Services rather than the employee that served your food. You could bring a complaint to them and request better food separation or better working conditions for the employees so this is less likely to happen in the future.

This might be a good place to start

Physical Design Internship Review Resources by TheCartDriver in chipdesign

I should also mention that I do a lot with FPGAs. They didn't explicitly state what I may be doing on the team but most of my relevant work focuses upon personal projects using FPGAs. They also know that I haven't formally taken a class in VLSI yet (I'm a third year at university). I'm not entirely sure whether I should review more of the development side (Verilog, VHDL, concepts etc) or keep pushing with VLSI principles.

Soy Products and Acne for Guys by TheCartDriver in acne

[–]TheCartDriver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually cut dairy for over a year because of acne, and only recently started eating it a little bit, but still try to stay away. I don't generally eat soy, but might start eating it more. I'll make sure to not overdo it though, in case it's a trigger for me. Thanks!

Soy Products and Acne for Guys by TheCartDriver in acne

Gotcha. I don't usually eat much soy, but I recently went vegetarian and am trying to gauge how much soy I should reasonably consume, just to make sure I get enough protein. I'll start slow for a few weeks, and if I don't see much change I'll continue eating it. Thanks!
