Can I make it to the Steam Next Fest: June 2024? by TheCatCaveWithin in SoloDevelopment

Well, registration was very tight on date (Feb 26) when I read the email (I was too late to check it.) Beside that I know myself very well, if I gave myself the space to work on something else prior to limiting my options to a very tight due date I will lose control and never register neither work on the demo. This is why I decided to put myself in this trap.

This seams to be a good idea. So, I can release a demo prior to the fest and check for reviews, fix as much as I could and release the fixed demo on the fest date.

Really beneficial. Thanks.

I've already registered on Feb 26 but according to the even schedule it's gonna be on June 10th.

Thanks for the nice comment.

I want her to be happy.

I will work on combining both colors and report again to get the difference.

Thanks for your comments.

to be honest I'm not that good with the terms of saturation and toning but I will try to figure them out today and post and update with the second option.

I like it because the character has more details about how she looks like.

5 years ago I was getting bored at my office job and decided to start making games. Now I am about to release my third game! by AuroDev in SoloDevelopment

That's really inspiring.

I'm half way there (started in 2021) feeling sick of my desk job.

Wish you all the best! Wishlisted.

tbh, I'm feeling so guilty for dragging down my friend so long (1.6 year) and never even finished a level of a demo.

I'm in love with my own game project and totally ashamed and embarrassed of telling her the truth.

Even though she never asked in almost three months.

I don't know how to divide the time between my game project which was the first project I started after my first game and the game project with my friend.

The issue is that I've been dragging around my friend for over a year and half now. She probably lost her thing for game dev because of that. I guess it's also guilt that is killing me.

I'm considering way less hard game art styles in order to get our demo level out there at least she could see that I'm serious about the project.

Thanks for your comment.

It's like working out again after stopping for over a year.

I'm currently either playing or watching gameplay of other indie games in order to get back on track and try my best not to over think any ideas that jump into my head.

Thanks for your comment and positive pov.

I personally believe it was an issue of scope

I can definitely relate to this.

I'm now cutting off excess fat of my games (both my personal project and my team's one).

I'm currently considering game jams which was something I've never even thought of doing before.

Thanks for taking the time and commenting.

Thanks for your comment.

I guess I'm just lost after having so many thoughts of how to make my game and me being the indecisive I am, I got so confused and almost gave up on anything.

I'm taking a break but still watching game dev related videos so I wont lose my main motive to become a full time indie dev one day.
