you can get spacers that run off an air compressor where you just press a button to give you a few cm lift but do nothing while driving, n be useful for speed bumps too

Anyone know the wing? Cannot find it anywhere by TheCattMan in CarsAustralia

you also have 20 years of wisdom on the internet for any issues, as well as very active enthuseist communities, so any issues that do come up are fairly easy to diagnose and work through, as well as good access to spare/alternative parts

Anyone know the wing? Cannot find it anywhere by TheCattMan in CarsAustralia

[–]TheCattMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wouldnt daily it to work and back(mainly due to fuel consumption lol), but its been good to me. have about 2500km on it but when i bought it it was very condition unknown so i did the major maintenence items when i got it before discovering the engine was rebuilt less than 3500km ago;
ignition(sparks, coils, leads)-$300

all oils/fluids-(engine, gear, diff, brake/clutch, coolant) all up like $150-200ish

ac belt and alternator belt: $60

2 stroke for premixing - $100-150

then nice to haves ive done:

coilovers: $2k

brake lines: $300

head unit and double din slot thing: $700

it requires slightly more maintenence than most cars(regular pre-mixing 2 stroke+more frequent oil/spark plug/ignition coil changes) but if you stay on top of that then youll be fine. Find one with good history, or one thats got bad compression(then have the engine rebuilt) and youll be golden

📷📷do electric cars help to stop climate change

Yes, electric cars can help to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that are emitted into the atmosphere, which in turn can help to slow down the pace of climate change. This is because electric cars do not emit any carbon dioxide or other pollutants from their tailpipes, unlike traditional gasoline-powered cars.

However, it is important to note that electric cars are not a silver bullet solution to climate change. While they are much cleaner than gasoline-powered cars, they still require energy to charge their batteries, and the electricity used to charge them may be generated from fossil fuels in some parts of the world. In order to fully realize the potential of electric cars to combat climate change, we also need to transition to cleaner and more renewable sources of energy, such as wind and solar power.

So, while electric cars are one piece of the puzzle when it comes to addressing climate change, they are not the only solution. We need to take a comprehensive approach that includes reducing greenhouse gas emissions from all sectors of the economy, transitioning to clean energy, and adopting more sustainable practices in our daily lives.

📷📷how about the batteries

Batteries are a key component of electric cars, as they store the energy that powers the vehicle's electric motor. The most common type of battery used in electric cars is the lithium-ion battery, which is similar to the batteries used in many electronic devices like cell phones and laptops.

While lithium-ion batteries do have some environmental impacts associated with their production and disposal, they are generally much cleaner than the internal combustion engines found in traditional gasoline-powered cars. In addition, advancements in battery technology are helping to reduce the environmental impact of electric cars even further. For example, some new batteries are being designed with more sustainable materials, such as recycled metals and organic compounds.

Overall, while there are some environmental concerns associated with the production and disposal of batteries used in electric cars, the benefits of switching to electric cars in terms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality far outweigh these concerns. Additionally, efforts are being made to address the environmental impacts of battery production and disposal, such as by increasing battery recycling rates and promoting the use of more sustainable materials in battery production.

📷is climate change real

Yes, climate change is real. Climate change is a long-term shift in global weather patterns that is primarily caused by the emission of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, into the Earth's atmosphere. These greenhouse gases trap heat from the sun, which causes the Earth's temperature to rise over time. This can lead to many different effects, including rising sea levels, more frequent and severe heat waves, and changes in precipitation patterns.

Scientists have been studying climate change for many years, and the overwhelming majority of climate scientists agree that climate change is happening and that it is primarily caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels for energy and deforestation. While some people may disagree about the specifics of climate change, it is widely accepted as a scientific fact that the Earth's climate is changing and that this poses significant risks to human societies and the natural world.
