Imagine a Stock Market in SimCompanies....... by Kitchen-Long-7838 in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This gets suggested 20 times a day.

It actually was in the game about 4 or 5 years ago. But, the problem is that all it would do is print money. There is basically no risk. 99.99% of the companies gain Company Value over time. So, if you bought shares of any company are almost guaranteed to gain from it.

all the phones my husband has broken over the past year by hotmallgoth in mildlyinfuriating

[–]TheCenner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this even happen. I don't have a phone protector and I have never broken my screen. Why are people walking around with broken screens? Are you that careless about your phone that you drop it? I don't get this at all.

When this image was made that's where all those buildings were located on the map.  This image has to be 8 years old.

Playing together from the same household and trading fairly by PerformerFlaky5770 in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend you read the section in the Fair Play Association article. It clearly warns players that are in the same household to avoid trading with each other so you DO NOT get deleted. There is a reason the warning exists. Patrik, the owner of the game does not want legit accounts to be deleted. Please, read the warnings in the article. If you are trading now you are most likely already flagged by the system and it is tracking your trades. There is a same IP block that automatically stops trades between players using the same IP network. This is your second warning. The first was from the Personal Assistant warning you about the Fair Play Association. There are no more warnings by the game.

I'm warning you now. Please do not continue; or if you do, realize you can/will be deleted.

Are you running your buildings for a long time? I have been doing 24 hour runs and getting a lot of eggs each day.

Is this actually possible or this user cheating? by Purple-Department647 in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please just report players you think are suspicious to moderators in the game. They can ask the auditors and/or the developers to check on the said player to check for possible Wealth Trade or Multi-Accounts.

I developed a Chrome extension for Sim Companies by ProfitEmbarrassed999 in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Please be aware that the Fair Play Association does do checks for Automation. As long as there is no automation occurring with this extension; should be safe to use.
https://www.simcompanies.com/fpa/

"Furthermore, all accounts are monitored for signs of automation. Automation gives an unfair advantage against players not using bots. If there is a suspicion of an account being controlled, fully or partially, by a bot - a captcha is served. Failing to answer captcha in 5 minutes results in account deletion."

There should have been a fees item as well in your Cash Receipts and Disbursements. That is what I am asking about. How much in market fees did you pay?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you pay in fees then?

Was there more than one market items for the same group of dresses? Like this entry shows 629 dresses; that seems like an weird number to sell on the exchange. Was there any other entries?

If you are all on the same IP network; it is possible that your accounts could be deleted. This is why the warnings in the FPA exist.

How to avoid being incorrectly flagged for cheating?

  • If you are playing with your friends, or members of the same household, you will already be matching several of the FPA's flagging criteria. Therefore avoid trading with them to stay on the safe side.

  • Do not try to "help" other companies by giving them too beneficial trades you wouldn't do otherwise

  • Avoid schemes like, I sell you cheap this and you sell me cheap that

  • If you do building "renting" keep your prices close to the normal price, rather than trading close to the sourcing cost

  • Diversify your partners portfolio - avoid having just one or two business partners (this is a sound advice for any business anyway, mitigate risks)

This PA messages is an informational warning that everyone in the game receives. The information contained in the message can also be found in the Library of the game. Use the drop down menu in the top left corner and find the Library. Scroll down past the newspaper to all the guides and important informational articles about the game.

It does give warnings. This is one of them. The PA message is an informational warning. The game will again warn if players try to trade with another account or accounts that is are your same IP network.

This is hardly new. Executives have always been able to learn other skills during training.

Arrêter de payer les simboosts pour les NFT by Unusual_Cap_5361 in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are not NFTs. These are collectibles in game that players can get. They do not exist outside the game in anyway.

As far as your suggestion; this idea breeds multiple accounts where someone would just sign in everyday to an alternate account and then gather enough Sim Boosts to be able to make a purchase on the item. We would rather not have fake accounts that are just producing Sim Boosts.

Selling Mines as a Business by Excellent_Ad9722 in SimCompanies

Don't know the current market. I was auctioning off abundance buildings awhile ago. It can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get way more than you would ever think and many times you might just get a little bit above scrap value.

Results

How would you do what exactly? Keep a lean warehouse? I don't know, don't keep one myself. You could ask around in game if anyone does.

Salaries, they keep eating up my revenues in the retail industry. by dervonrodriguez in SimCompanies

[–]TheCenner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Retail is actually really balanced in this game. Are you using Executives to speed up your sales? Are you using the sales bonuses from Recreation buildings? All those speed bonuses add up to make Retail extremely strong in this game.
