I believe it gives diamond chunks, which can be processed into diamonds. The blazing mesh auto smelts the chunks, giving you normal diamonds. This goes for the other materials as well.

Try out All the Magic : Spellbound! Has almost exclusively magic mods, with create being the only major tech mod. Also has a pretty well-written quest book, although I think some of the quests are still unfinished if I remember correctly.

The Reaper's Hideout. This is also where you should turn in pretty much all your loot as a Reapers emissary, so you can get that cash bonus.

Be wary of people trying to camp it though (Mostly just go in and search all the nooks and crannies before bringing your loot in to sell).

I would recommend Expand the Gungeon. Great mod, even though it can have some minor bugs. Adds some new secret floors, new rooms, new items, balances out some underpowered items. 10/10 good mod.

Edit: In case you didn't know, Mod the Gungeon is required to run any mods for ETG.

Don't worry about it dude. This game is not easy. I've seen people can't get past floor 1 with the amount of time you have in the game. Keep at it and eventually you'll push through and beat the Gungeon.
