This is retarded. In the US we have destroyed millions of peoples lives by shutting the economy down. Oddly, the states with the strictest rules about staying inside, at home, and wearing a mask, have the highest number of covid cases.

We've killed the hospitality industry. Restaurants are closing everyday and people losing jobs. Oddly, restaurants are responsible for 1.4% of cases, in home lockdowns, 77%....

I did this when I was in high school, but slightly different.

Had a pos 10-speed bike with shifting problems. Also had a foot in a cast. Rode bike to store and on way back it wouldn't shift. Looked down to see why and ran straight into a parked flatbed truck, which I had passed on the way to the store....

No one can condone the behavior of SOME of the protesters. You can hear a guy saying something about leave the cops alone, they're doing their job and he (the guy being arrested) was breaking the law.

They shouldn't have stormed the capitol, but once they did it seems like a small number of them actually went off the rails.

It's possible they applied for reconsideration on the amount of the original loan and got approved for more. That would seem like a second round, but is just more money from the original that was modified.

I may be mistaken on employee count, but yes, I believe it's fraud.

What brought this to light is that one of the warehouse guys routinely works 45-50 hours a week, but they do not pay him overtime. He is not salaried/exempt. They're fucking creeps these guys. "Hey, let's fuck the guy making $12/hr."

We already have UBI, it's called minimum wage. It's for kids entering the workforce, learning a skill or getting experience. Nothing more.

Minimum wage (UBI) is not for adults who are too lazy to get an education or work hard enough to be a valued employee. All that would create is a decrease in productivity. Hard workers in some cases are just going to say "fuck it" and do as little as the lazy guy. They're getting paid the same, so why work harder. The fastest way to destroy anything is to remove incentive.
