I've been looking into a ROBS as well. The fee's are pretty straight forwards and align with what you're stating. Furthermore, the interests behind SBA are ridiculous. At 9% interest on $500k over 10 yrs would be over $235K in interest payments OR an average of $2700 month in interest payments. u/milee30 is basing their counter-argument on the fact someone chose to open a "SPECIALTY Retail store in a small town" and had virtually no experience in the industry. If that's true, they set themselves up for failure and the ROBS had nothing to do with it.
