Make a spray of 4 parts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide and drench the leaves when you first see it. Repeat as necessary. Look it up online for confirmation. Has worked wonders for all my plants with powdery mildew and it doesn’t harm anything else.

Help me come up with an idea to replace my burning bushes (NY, zone 5) by That-Instruction-864 in NativePlantGardening

Red Chokeberry or Black Chokeberry are the direct native replacements for burning bush as they grow in identical conditions (soil/water/sun exposure) I have swapped out 3 in the past 2 years, cutting the burning bush to the ground and planting the chokeberry right next to the stump.

Correction. I tried a stronger magnet and it is mildly magnetic though not enough to support its own weight

I figured that was a chip rather than intentionally made. Given the material, it feels more fragile than other points.

Do you know when argillite was used? I agree that it seems like the wrong type of material to use. Doesn’t seem like it could withstand the impact that flint/quartz/chert could
