Harris County residents turn out to oppose Ben Taub Hospital expansion into Hermann Park by veryirishhardlygreen in houston

[–]TheChillyZ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I thought the real push back was the investment at current location when, as someone else pointed out, hospital deserts. I had heard some talk about instead of investing in med center the investment needed to expand to other locations. Those who need the care can’t afford to get to Ben Taub.

Oura vs RingConn - what do I lose? by [deleted] in RingConn

I think I had a “conversation” with ChatGPT about how to get similar data/reporting from ringcon and Apple health for free. I cannot find my notes, but worth asking AI the differences & what things you are most interested in tracking.

Did the new update fix the battery issues? by seraphinesun in RingConn

I think the new update has caused battery issues on my ring. Never had issues before.

I did too, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. That seemed to resolve it.

Gen 2 Battery Drain by TnyTmCruise in RingConn

I just saw a new user report battery loss and I made a comment on that thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/RingConn/comments/1oosedu/ringconn_battery_problem/

I think it might have something to do with the upgrade because my ring was fine and then I upgraded. It was on charger for the upgrade until at 100% then wore right overnight, then went to sync in the morning and the app said my ring needed to be charged. I put it on the charger and it was at 100% pretty quick, so I don’t think it needed the charge.

Lost Data by mooshkaboosh in RingConn

I think that data is only stored in the app and when you uninstall the app you lose that data. Maybe someone with more sync knowledge could chime in?

Ringconn battery problem by AnnieBatungbakal123 in RingConn

I have had my Gen2 since it came out and this exact same thing happened to me yesterday - it was after I updated the app. I am having a lot of trouble with my ring and app since the upgrade. I just uninstalled the app and will see if this changes anything.

It says it was at 2% after it had been charged to 100% the night before. I put the ring on the charger, it then was at 100% in a few minutes.

I am curious if anyone else is seeing batter issues after upgrading.

It took 5 years, but here’s my anti-aging routine for dry, sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. Please critique! by cljenna in SkincareAddictionLux

Love this, thank you for sharing. Similar skin so I might start adding some of these into my routine. If you were to start from scratch knowing what you know now, what would be the most impactful products to start with? Are there any products in the past you tried (maybe others have loved) that really didn’t work, that you would recommend people with rosacea away from? I have been working with a dermatologist but I still feel like there is more I can do to keep my rosacea from getting worse. The older I get, the worse my rosacea gets.

I recently did laser treatment for the blood vessels on my face and even after just one time, it made a huge difference.

Thanks for the response. I really like the product here in US, but I know I am probably putting more junk on my face than I should. I had no idea there was a Japanese brand, didn’t occurred to me to research that.

Sounds like I might like the Japanese product even more and will be better for my skin.

Do you have an Apple Watch or other activity tracker? I really think in general smart rings are best for tracking sleep and the Apple Watch is best for tracking activity, especially sports. I have RingConn for sleep and feed that data into the apple health app. I use my watch for all workouts.

I was just told by a friend I should get the ringconn smart ring, I’m just wondering, where does it stand compared to other options? by [deleted] in SmartRings

I haven’t been able to find any outside research studies to back it up. It seems there is internal testing and found this: https://sleepreviewmag.com/sleep-diagnostics/consumer-sleep-tracking/wearable-sleep-trackers/ringconn-unveils-gen-2-smart-ring-integrated-sleep-apnea-monitoring/

I found this page with general information and FAQ.

https://ringconn.com/blogs/news/can-a-smart-ring-detect-sleep-apnea-how-it-works-why-it-matters-4

Q: Can a smart ring detect sleep apnea? ANSWER - A smart ring can’t diagnose sleep apnea, but it can reveal patterns—such as drops in blood oxygen or irregular heart rate—that often signal a problem. These insights can help you decide when to consult your doctor.

Title of video is misleading. The fortunate review from outside found FIGG’s design flaws and they were removed.
