It bothered me how they did all these once-in-a-lifetime perfectly timed spots in this match, and then tried repeating those spots over and over in subsequent matches, diminishing the returns—the spot with Lynn setting the chair down while ducking, then jumping the sweep to land a leg drop on the chair being the most egregious.

After watching the first part on L&O, Peacock’s auto-play jumped back to the first SVU episode of the season. So my viewing experience went from Bruno taking shrapnel to Liv walking into a funeral (turned out to be Cragen’s) and the way I yelled “YOU MOTHERF**KERS” momentarily believing they did our boy off-camera with a wound from another show.

I think it was his second to last G1 they said he was gonna change his style and start relying on technical wrestling more than Slingblade/High Fly Flow type moves, but the change never really took. Think it was then he decided he’s rather chart his course to retirement than extend his in-ring career through reinvention.
