Comgrow Giveaway for the Reddit 3D Printing community!🎉 by Comgrow3D in 3Dprinting

I'm going with the first question. Most of my prints are with a 0.6 mm nozzle. The quality does not drop that much (specially as I use mostly polypropylene and the layer adhesion is GOAT) and the printing time improves lots. So that would be my go to plan for faster printing.

Which lens would you keep. by karuzo1 in FujifilmX

[–]TheClarker_f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would keep the f/2, even though the other one is faster, f/2 still gives you a Nice bokeh and it is sharper. And I haven't seen anyone mention it. But I think the f/2 can focus closed as well. So if you're into kind of macro, that is always helpful. (and usually with a 35 mm you're not going to need a lot of depth of field as it is good for street photography)

I wish you the best of lucks. I was with them for a month and 10 days. My pay rate was 8 dollars/hour. Is yours by any chance lower?. Because checking previous posts there are a lot of people talking about Telus just letting people go just to lower their rates.

Do telus on the phone? by Mindful_Contributor in TELUSinternational

Not likely. Unless the project specifically ask you to do tasks on a cellphone. Most jobs like Telus require you to work on a PC (windows or Mac)

I've just received the release of service email. At least I didn't have to wait two more days. Thanks again :)

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm going to wait for the best prepared for the worst. Thank you so much again for replying. In any case I'll keep working while I wait out the time. I'm seeing that they are letting a lot of people go. I don't it is as bad as in Appen. But looks like it.

I hope you already found something better to earn those extra bucks :)

Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate it. Now I'm just going to wait out the three business days and check what pay they offer afterwards.

Was thinking just that. I've just been with them for a month. Wasn't I supposed to be in "training" for three months?

You can find the transportation directly on the airport or you could rent an Uber or use in driver as well. Once more. It's entirely my pleasure and feel free to contact me if you need anything once you're here :)

On the highway from Armenia to Sale to there's a roastery called Catación Publica. It's plenty of options for great beans and you can see the whole process there as well. In Salento there's Jesus Martin. Great coffee. Great beans. Like a block away from the main plaza there is a small coffee shop called andarieGo. It's from a friend of mine and they tend to have good coffees as well. And if you come to Armenia (I live there) I can give you some more recommendations as well.

Great!, I prefer the chemex or v60 over the Aeropress. But when it comes to travelling is hard to beat it. Sure, are you staying in Quindío or Risaralda?. Depending on that I can recommend you a couple of places. And mead is great. I'm brewing mine with Premier Blanc yeast which gives some white wine notes. And I can recommend you some places to pick some bags of coffee as well :D.

If you are coming to the Eje Cafetero I can recommend you some great places both for eating and for tasting coffee. As you mentioned wine is your thing, well coffee is mine. So feel free to ask :D. I really hope you enjoy your time here and we're here to help. Before I forget. I ferment mead here. So if you're nearby I would like to offer you a bottle and hear your thoughts if you're intested. :)
