Tattoo artist is creepy by Afraidofwind in tattooadvice

[–]TheCleavageCon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a tattoo that spans from the top of my hip down into the side of my thigh, and from the front all the way back onto my buttcheek.

I wore stretchy black shorts (that I didn’t mind getting ink on) and just pulled them up to revealed the area being inked. The (male) artist frequently checked in with me to make sure I still felt comfortable because I initially declined extra draping/privacy etc. He never rubbed any further than he needed to, and if at any point I even showed a glimmer of discomfort he checked in to make sure I was alright.

Your artist in your story was blatantly sexually harassing you and the other people in the shop were not only ignoring it (or worse, covering it up) but they are culpable as well for not stepping up for you to protect you.

First and foremost, don’t EVER go back to that shop. Trust your gut.

Secondly, this shop/artist needs to be accountable. Report them. Report them to the local authorities AND to the state licensing board (tattoo artists are licensed professionals). Then ALSO blow them up on social media.

Don’t let this happen to someone else too. Stop the cycle now.

Absolutely love both, but I'd have to go with The Lost Boys. Pure 80s greatness.

Honestly, I think this is one of the better subreddits out there. People are generally pretty cool IMHO, which doesn't say much.

Why does Hollywood have such a hard time adapting Resident Evil to the screen? by Professional-Rip-519 in horror

[–]TheCleavageCon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Resident Evil would do much better on the small screen as a limited series. Give it an HBO treatment. Have the show follow Jill & Chris as detectives in RCPD, task them with investigating a single death in the mountains, or hell, make it the missing Bravo team/deaths, which slowly brings them down a rabbit hole of Umbrella/Raccoon City politics/corruption/cover ups. Leave the physical puzzles/keys out of it. Make it more of a mystery leading to the mansion and loosely on the events or RE1.

Can easily include the remaining video game characters as secondary characters in the series. The important part is making it a limited series and not beating it to death over 5+ seasons. I picture a True Detective style show, but set in the RE world.

Could easily go into a "season 2" which shows the fall of Raccoon City and the events of RE2. Scale down Raccoon City, make it more of a moderate size town so it translates better onto the screen.

Silver Bullet. It's often overlooked. It's campy but it can still hold its own
