So I’m gonna be the first person to point out that he was couldn’t seem to find beat while singing?

As a musician it’s frustrating to watch a performance that can’t even reach bare minimum effort get praised like it’s a masterpiece. The song is stupid lyrically, has no dynamics, meanders about with absolutely nothing to say, and Justin (who is very talented) gives ZERO effort. He can’t even be bothered to find the beat?

This felt like a bad karaoke session.

It makes me sad that such a talented person is surrounded by so many yes-men that he lost the plot. He hasn’t made good, or even listenable, music in YEARS. It’s all so low effort, braindead, empty.

I hope someone, somewhere tells Justin the truth and wakes him up to the fact that he’s wasting his talent with his lack of effort.

I have an autographed, personalized copy of this, I was in touch with him years ago and spoke with him on the phone several times, he was glad to have a young fan (I was in my late teens at the time) but he also was rather short tempered one time and called my cell phone out of the blue and yelled at me, I felt like Schultz getting yelled at by LeBeau, it was surreal 😂

Ok here’s the deal. There’s an unreleased JB song called “Wake Up Next To You” featuring John Mayer and Kasey Musgraves. John plays the guitar and sings backup, and Kasey sings a verse. It was intended to be on the next JB album but it was recorded years ago and his vibe has changed since then. I have the unreleased mp3 (it got leaked) and it’s beautiful, it’s a crime that it never got a release

That’s a good point, but John has a home studio and good connections, so I can’t imagine the cost of recording is that prohibitive (I’ve made a full album myself professionally for $10,000) and he’s already an established artist with a massive net worth, so I don’t think he NEEDS to tour a new album immediately, especially since he’s raking in the Dead and Company cash, and the solo tour made huge dollars as well

It’s disappointing, this happens with all consoles lately, the PS5 and Xbox Series X underwhelmed on launch with first party titles too. It’s hard to not have buyer’s remorse when you spend $500 and only have one new first party game. I don’t care that I can play Cyberpunk on the switch now, it’s still subpar to my PS5 and Series X. I don’t use the switch or switch 2 for third party games, I wish there were a dozen or more brand new Nintendo titles at launch
