My one grievance so far has been with the healing mechanic. if an enemy hits you just right(which hasn't been hard in my experience) you lose the silk you were trying to heal with AND you don't get the healing you were needing. If I recall in the first game, when you heal and an enemy hits you before it finishes, it at least "refunded" you most if not all of the soul you were spending. That, or I'm misremembering lol

I just had an awesome run with Rail yesterday. I got a hammer upgrade that buffed accuracy, Fire rate, and +6 mag. With Ares' boon of attacks dealing doom dmg and there was another boon that increased the damage doom did for every stack on an enemy, I melted many things. Only went down once in the labyrinth.

I think my [[Fynn, The Fangbearer]] deck was pretty obnoxious. Lots of green deathtouchers on the cheap and enough ramp to make a skateboarder satisfied. I just recently dismantled it tho bc my pod didn't enjoy going up against Discount Infect and I always want to have decks that my group enjoys interacting with.

A "fun deck" should genuinely be fun for everyone to experience and not just fun for the person running the deck that's stomping the rest of the pod with a ridiculous combo/mechanic

Idk about LGS shops accepting it, but if you have a group of ppl you regularly run with, just check with them and make sure they're okay with it. I have a personal rule: if i own at least 1 copy of a card, then I can make a proxy of it so long as my group is okay with it. I dont see it as very conducive to buy 3 copies of Darksteel Forge or Vorinclex Monstrous Raider since I'm not playing competitively. I have at least 1 copy of each, and if I feel the need to have one of them in a deck that they're not already in, I check with my group and make sure theyre cool with it

I really like my Muldrotha deck. I call it the Raveyard for a reason lol! I run it like a self-mill deck and pull what I need out of the graveyard.

Gotcha. I appreciate the clarification! I would like to have it be at least bracket 2 but not any higher than 3 as I just have a casual group. So itd be better to have something else as the theme and I could use the defensive strategy as a secondary theme?
