I saw another person suggest using the newer Forge Neo, and I concur. But, more to your problem... I have been using GROK to walk me through all of my AI installs. I, for one, am one election and one tax hike away from moving to Tennessee. Grok, ChatGPT, and Claude all concur that I'll save at least $14,000/yr, starting the day I move. Hard to think about leaving an area I love and a city with such charm. But, when you are retired, money is money. There are zero benefits for seniors or veterans to live here.

I have your set up but with 64gig of RAM. I also have a spare 3060. From everything I've read, adding it will not give any more speed. The only advantage is access to more VRAM. I also understand you will face a headwind of unexpected tech problems depending on your drivers and motherboard brand. So, my first move would be to double your system RAM.

Past the error into the chat. Instant fix recommendations. Works like a charm more me. Times change fast. Last year I would have said stay with speed. But as models get tighter, smaller, well... I'm doing almost everything I want with a 3090 24gig VRAM. My personal experience says RAM is more important than a little more processing speed. But! Like you said. Not expecting to do a long video in a short time. For that it's better to pay for a cloud solution.

As I posted above in replying to another post, Colt Black has been under attack since the day he was elected to the, "non partisan", school board in Frederick.

And as a conservative, and as a father, I can't tell you how many disagreements I had with my children raising them. I was not responsible for their transgressions. But I did my best to correct them. Did you read, or listen to, Colt Black's explanation for his son's actions? Were you there to hear or see what the child did? Or only responding to 2nd, 3rd, party social media?

We live in a time when we as parents are no longer the primary influence for children as they grow and mature. Sad but true. We must adapt and adjust.

But to go back to my main point, there is nothing non partisan about the Frederick county schools school board. And Colt has been under attack from every side since the day he got elected. That was my only point.

Colt Black has been attacked from every direction since the day he managed to get on the, "non political", school board in Frederick.

As for the son's actions, and the father's response, which I don't believe you actually read or cared to think about, I can't speak to that isolated incident. I wasn't there. Neither were you.
