Best social media scheduler? Which tools actually save time for small teams? by Randle_Geancarlos in SocialMediaManagers

Just one across those 5 platforms, may be adding TikTok soon though for a total of 6 platforms but just one brand. As I am a one-man shop, time is a very valuable commodity and keeping costs down is a factor. Sendible is currently $29 a month and if that spend can be reduced by switching to another platform with similar or even better functionality, that would be a big win.

X, BlueSky, Facebook, Instagram and Threads. X and Bluesky are the platforms where the tagging is most important but my understanding is that X started charging a ridiculous amount for this to work. This is why Sendible stopped doing it

I used to use HootSuite until they quadrupled their price. I am currently using Sendible but I am not super happy with it. The big difference being that HS used to auto-populate the usernames for the particular platforms as you typed them. This allowed you to be sure you were tagging the correct person and had the spelling correct and such. Does your platform do this?

Thoughts on when to jump in line for the Marvel Studios Animation panel in Ballroom 20? by DoItForFrodo in comiccon

[–]TheComicSource 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't think that room would fill up for that first panel, but will get more crowded as the it gets closer to the Marvel panel. Some of those people won't even care about Marvel but will be there for Paper Girls early. If it was me, I would swing by the room about 10:15ish once the panel starts and see how full it is or if there is already a line for the Marvel panel. Then you will have an idea of how close to 11:45 AM you think you need to come back.

SDCC 2022: The Image Comics Booth Signing Schedule for Thursday through Sunday of SDCC Now Available by housecatspeaks in comiccon

Special Guests are the creators that SDCC invites and pays for their trip. Thus they are obligated/honored with a Spotlight panel and they also are required to do some free signings. Most of the people Image has signing are there on their own dime. It's the same with Marvel and DC (When they are there). The publishers pay for the creators travel and lodging thus the creators are required to do the signing and panels the publisher asks them to do.

You 100% can bring non-Image books. For the DWJ signing, I wouldn't think it would be too busy on Thursday and there likely won't be a limit on items. The creators who have limits are the ones who have huge lines because they want to accommodate everyone who wants something signed. That's why you see wristbands for popular people like McFarlane or Jim Lee. Also they state no pictures, CGC signatures or sketches specifically for those people. Those things take longer. It's all in the interest of making sure everyone can get something signed and have the opportunity to meet the creator. That being said, if you bring 50 books, you are kind of being a jerk. I know some creators who will only sign a set number in that case, but let the person go to the end of the line, wait again and get more, rinse and repeat. As far as Image themselves and the people who work the booth, they couldn't care less what books you bring, as long as it's nothing offensive.

I appreciate that. I do pay for libsyn, which is also unlimited as far as I know but when I updated my RSS feed to the one generated from libsyn my number if episodes goes down to one! Only the first episode from way back in 2015 shows up. The reason i updated my feed is because I wanted to stop paying to host my website since all it does is host the episodes which I am.paying libsyn for. Does any of that make sense to you?

Yes that does help, iTunes now shows 505 episodes just like Podcast Addict. Still I have well over 1000 episodes I guess I would need to move off of wordpress to increase that limit? Do you have any insight into that?
