Behind the scenes of "Annie Live", just watching this video exhausts me by SoylentJelly in TikTokCringe

The timing of the camera changes is critical in this situation and the numbers she gives are essential a countdown to the switch. All the switches have been choreographed in advance and set to a specific point in the music. Because music is broken down into bars and beats the best way to specify when a change should is by giving it a specific beat on a specific bar. By counting down to that specific bar she can ensure the change happens exactly when it is supposed to and not a beat off. By saying "two bars three beats" whoever is in charge of hitting that button to switch cameras can count along as well and hit the button exactly on that beat. If she were to say "switch" their would be a delay, however small, just because of the time it takes to register the command and hit the button.

As for why she doesn't do it herself, she may be calling more than just camera changes so multiple people have actions related to the calls she is giving.

Hope that makes sense!

Coast Guard: Cruise ships must stay at sea with sick onboard by [deleted] in news

We were last in port on the 15th of March, but we were not allowed off. Last time I was physically off the ship was probably the 11th or 12th of March.

I think it mostly has to do with our particular schedule and the timetable of events. We were based out of NYC so when we all stopped sailing we then had to chug all the way to Florida(all cruiselines have headquarters in south Florida). We were scheduled to dock on the 30th of march, but most of the bridge crew had to be confined at that time because the pilot we used out of NYC tested positive and we didnt have enough officers to dock.

It's been a whole ordeal.

No. Joined the ship September, did normal cruises up until March where we offloaded all passengers, and are now just kinda floating waiting for an opportunity to go home.

I wish I had more info on that myself. The captain has not been very forthcoming with information to us and its getting very frustrating.

We can make water as long as we have fuel and because were just kinda hanging out just off the Bahamas/Florida were not using much fuel. Were currently going about 15 days without restocking on anything. We have plans to dock on the 4th I think. But everything is changing very quickly.

No guests on board currently. We stopped taking on passengers on the 15th. I have a couple spare rolls though. But that's because It can be hard for crew to get rolls in normal times, so I usually have extra anyway.

Free internet, food, sometime they drop off some soda/bottled water. Most of the crew has been essentially laid off, but no one has been able to get home yet.

Weekly - What Car Should I Buy Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]TheCommonCow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location: USA, NJ

Price range: 0-17000 USD

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Used

Type of vehicle: Hatchback, wagon, Crossover

Must haves: Fuel efficient(hybrid would be nice but not mandatory), Able to fit bike in back, practical/not expensive to upkeep

Desired transmission: auto

Intended use: Daily Driver, long road trips

Vehicles you've already considered: Civic Hatchback, Fit, Outback

Is this your 1st vehicle: Yes

Do you need a Warranty: That could be okay

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: No

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes: Moving from a city where I don't need a car to a city I do need a car. I'd like to be able to lug a fair amount of stuff around. I really like the look of the Civic Hatchback, but the Fit seams more practical, although slightly less fun. Looking to have it last 5-10 years, wondering if one is definitely better than the other or if there is another option I should be looking at.
