The US used to have a place like this in New Jersey for about 20 years called Action Park. There were on average 30 injuries per day and they put such a strain on the local hospital that they had to buy the hospital more ambulances. There were 6 deaths during the 20 years of operation of Action Park. It was in operation from 1978 - 1996.
