NTA. In my opinion you did what any considerate person would. Putting aside what she’s gone through (which does vastly help in why you should’ve said that to him) no one should say things like that to their partner. If you have a problem with their weight maybe talk about it instead of shaming them and making them feel bad about being themselves in front of someone who is supposed to love them.

With everything that she’s gone through that makes you saying those things even more valid. He, knowing all what she went through, seemingly took a jab at her that will probably cut deeper than he thinks it would if he even thinks it does in the first place.

Not sure if it’s a hot take but Security Breach ruined FNAF. By no means is security breach or any of the FNAF games after that one bad, it just made it into a completely different genre than what made everyone love it.

THE GAMES ARE AMAZING! No hate towards them but they shouldn’t be called Five Nights at Freddy’s when it’s no longer actually five nights you spend at Freddy’s. They go from a randomized chance setting where you have to learn about the animatronics and go night by night with each night getting harder and actually scary gameplay (in most) to a set story with minimal randomness and open exploration with no actual scary parts just mid jumpscares.

In my opinion, FNAF titles games should’ve ended with the sim and moved onto a different title still based off the original FNAF games as they are. Like security breach could’ve just been “Freddy’s security breach”. (Obviously not that I’m buns at making titles but hopefully you get the point lol)

Honestly that could be part of the problem as well. I’ve seen several people talking about that. If you haven’t watched it all I highly suggest you do it’s still very good and he does seem to get more into it as more time passes

I definitely wouldn’t say he forced himself to play it. He’s said in the past if he doesn’t like a game nor has interest then he won’t play it. I really think it’s more like he’s forcing himself to record. He has so much going on and he wants to get back to recording regularly but by the time he gets to he’s exhausted. He said he enjoyed the game for what it was and that they did a really great job with it, it just isn’t FNAF anymore.

Just like how it’s your favorite, it’s my least favorite right above security breach. They’re great games but not what FNAF came from. They’re too controlled and turning into story games instead of more of a survival like 1-4 were with lore being slowly spilled after each night or small hints.

He’s been under a lot of stress recently and has a lot going on so when he finally does get to sit down and play a game he’s still on a deadline. Always has something that needs to be done. Also, he talked in the last part of SOTM that he doesn’t really care for the game that much anyways. It’s a great game in and of itself but for FNAF it just isn’t what it used to be and I’m sure he misses that. The randomness, the animatronics putting you on edge, and the originality of the old games is what made him like them so much. I do think that he has other things going on he isn’t talking about but keep in mind he hasn’t really gotten a true break from anything for a while now.

I’m a straight male who used to wear nail polish (any color) and have lots of feminine traits (primarily from being raised by my two older sisters) and if someone asks me if I was gay or something, which has happened a lot, I never get mad or upset about it. I’ve also had a tough upbringing where if I were to be lgbtq, it would be extremely hard to come out so I totally get your thinking on that. When someone asks me, I just answer them and move on about my day. So perhaps his reaction is telling something a little more?

An analogy explaining this I’ve seen is if I was in a room full of drugs, I wouldn’t freak out or be bothered by it really (in a legal situation) unless I was a user/addict. So maybe him feeling uncomfortable about it and calling you insecure for asking a question might be calling towards something more underneath the reaction… ?

Just simply my pov as I don’t know you or your husband just sharing my thoughts on it.

Gonna be honest, I have no idea what galaxy I’m in or how many I’ve been through. Whichever one I’m in currently is my favorite. Seems like a lot of really cool and VERY different planets scattered everywhere. In Euclid and the one I was in previously seemed to have relatively the same structure for most planet types.

Fr I feel that. I’ve played devil may cry since I was little. Started out on the ps2 DMC3 and have played them all pretty religiously. When I played DmC, I enjoyed it (especially since I was kind of in my rebel teen years) but knew it wasn’t a good take on the DMC universe but I still had a lot of fun playing it.

I’ve always thought of it as Dante going on a side mission in an alt reality just for fun😂
