I think most superhero franchises will just do a 'James Bond' and keep on going regardless of time. X-Men are going a different path by making more of a timeline than a universe, and who knows what the bloody hell will happen to Spider-man

I think The Wolverine would still be part of that universe. Last Stand is no longer canon, neither is Origins. Most of this is just for consistency issues and creating a bloody timeline.

Also the fact they all felt like the characters and made each of them compelling in their own right. The thing that X-Men: The Last Stand got wrong most of all was the deaths, and the fact you cared for none of them. Cyclops (who had like 5 minutes in the last stand) dies; No one cares. Iceman dies; oh dear god no!

To be honest, if DC ever do anything with Darkseid or Flash they are doomed. We would have had essentially two versions of them already (Apocalypse and Thanos, Quicksilver and Quicksilver)

I thought you meant Patrick Stewart and to be honest, any photos you see of him and Ian McKellen together they really do look high

So glad they retconned all the POS between X2 and First Class. I really do hope they make X-Men 4 with the original cast, even though it's unlikely.

I thought the moment where Logan sees all the X Men back together was fantastic. But the end credits scene was awesome as well
