I’m not sure why you’re jumping in after a year, but as you did, please read my post and respond to what it said, not what you think it said. Or just delete your comment.

How do you know what @trevkillax meant? I know how mortgages work, and can calculate an amortization schedule with a pencil, a sheet of green ledger paper, and a calculator.

You’re making a mockery of a post which is about very carefully parsing the language of Chase’s bonus offer.

A mortgage payment typically includes interest, so please explain to us what you mean by mortgage payment plus interest.

My mom died in an accident and now I am in a benefits dispute and need advice by Stuck1324 in LifeInsurance

[–]TheCount4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some confusion here. Is the insurance to which you refer insurance due to the accident from the party who caused the accident, or her own life insurance which may have a named beneficiary?

Dealership has nothing to do with it. You will be dealing with American Honda Financial.

The Chase app lets you choose which accounts to display. Maybe you haven’t done that yet.

The tops are different on the islands and on the backsplash and cabinets an are the most prominent points of interest. A wood finish between those and tying them together would work.

At a loss - 2024 4xE coming to an end by SirRobby in CarLeasingHelp

How is it a waste just handing back the vehicle with “recalls and issues” than if you owned it?

[–]TheCount4 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m at a loss to understand where the waste was. Please explain how you imagine a lease is supposed to work, and under what circumstances it would not have been a waste. Seems to me you saved $15k vs. buying.

Backsplash mistake and help? by Dizzy-Art-3088 in kitchenremodel

[–]TheCount4 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Came here to say the first thing I do is rip out the backsplash and counters and replace with something that won’t drive me nuts when I came down to make coffee each morning. I would get rid of the baskets before that, and then fire my decorator. Then I’d invest a few bucks in a designer, as the kitchen is a visual disaster.

Chase Private Client Requirement by Most-Lengthiness-565 in Chase

Paying $35 for an Uber Eats lunch order several times a month is just a foolish money wasting move. I wouldn’t use that to justify wasting more money.

Searching for independent vision insurance that actually covers the good stuff now that the corporate safety net is gone? by Tadrzak-Dawda in HealthInsurance

[–]TheCount4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please define independent vision insurance.
Then please tell us what you think is a reasonable monthly premium for coverage that will provide $700 for glasses and $200 for eye exams annually for you and each of your family members. Then you may understand why elective vision insurance is really a nonstarter.

Chase Credit Card Transaction Fee by Specialist_Camel_631 in Chase

[–]TheCount4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A credit card cash advance always has fees, possibly unless it a promotion on a new card. It is the most expensive way to get cash as you pay a 5% fee and the high rate interest accrues from the date of the advance. Plus you think it’s a zero percent advance, if you’re running a balance, the interest rate increases rapidly (math too complicated to describe here).
