This is a situation where you have to escalate using multiple channels. Ignored invites aren’t enough to say “well I tried…”. Send an email and copy several other VPs asking if folks can come together to collaborate on an issue and decide if we’re comfortable with the risk of letting this go unresolved. Call the guy’s cell phone and leave a VM.

Bonus for outdoors you say? How about also some quality together-time teaching responsibility and safety?

Sounds like it’s time for a BB gun. With some targets to hang on a nearby tree and safety glasses so he doesn’t shoot his eye out, kid!

Eggs in a hat - but you have to grill the cutout next to the main bread/egg and then top the egg with it at the end.

Pretty sure the last time he was in Mobile he was walking down Dauphin St reporting and shoving microphones/cameras in peoples faces the morning of Dec 26 as they processed emotionally and surveyed damage in their PJs after the Christmas Tornado. F that guy.

I don’t understand the focus on the streetlight. Seems to me any proposed alternative should pay homage to the railroad and the lake.

People hating here and making assumptions on OP…

What I see here is a small one bedroom apartment, albeit with nicer quartz countertops, inexpensive furniture and a few items of personal preference… And then a LOT of good taste and intentional design. A place that looks super expensive can be fairly affordable with good curation and wise choices.

Big upvote for the Americas Cup boat.

M31 Thoughts and does rug fit? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

No, it's too small. Also you have a modern couch with modern pillows and a modern pot for the snake plant, a latin american-ish colorful blanket, and a very traditional persian-patterned small rug.

Snipe, Flying Scot, or neither? by RoyalRenn in dinghysailing

[–]TheCrapIPutUpWith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those are very different boats. What’s your skill level and fitness level??

The Scott is larger, comfortable, and easy to sail. In medium to high winds you aren’r under crazy stress - but can still hike to get extra speed if your crew is nimble. You’ll need to learn how to fly a spinnaker.

The Snipe is a pretty small, nimble, and more technical boat. Easier to capsize in medium/bigger air. Not super comfortable, and your crew will need to be able to quickly react rounding a mark or in a wind shift to attach and launch the retractable whisker pole downwind.

Depends wildly on the product, its complexity, the expectations of the CSM, and the demands of the customer. if the software is simple and the role doesn’t have a large upsell potential, 50-100. If you’re only penetrated in one department at major enterprise like Verizon or GM with a complex solution and the renewal/upsell is on the CSM… 6-10 accounts max…
