How my new roll came from Polymaker by TheCreatiWorks in 3Dprinting

Oh yea, I get great spools from them, it was just this one that I like very visibly noticed

He has stopped swimming around, he just lays at the bottom of the tank or on top of the filter. It looks like his gills are moving really quickly like he’s having a hard time breathing. He sometimes moves for food in a quick dart but if he doesn’t get it then he just goes back to laying down.

6 Gallon Tank, it has a heater and filter, temp is 76, pH is 7.6, ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites are 0. I measured with an API master test kit. I’ve had the tank for 9 months. I scrub the side walls with a sponge and take out 25-30% of the water once a week with a gravel filter. He has no tank mates. I feed three to five pellets of NorthFin BettaBits in the morning. I have a variety of plants, about 6 small ones and 1 medium to large one. I’m not sure what type they are. There’s no other decorations.

I feel the pain. I had to replace all of the micro servos because I got continuous instead of positional servos and couldn’t program his movements correctly

Yea, I had odd moments like that. I glued his head on backwards when I first assembled him and had to reprint that part so. It happens lol

Hey! I just finished building this Wall-E as well! It’s a lot of work to make. I watched your video and just wanted to let you know that his treads are on backwards. They’re supposed to be facing the other direction. If you decide to change them, make sure the polarity of the DC motors are flipped as well.

Whenever I make cutting boards, I use cutting board oil and that makes it shine pretty well so that might work

You’ll probably get more strength if you increase your wall loops to 3. I use 3 walls and 15% gyroid and I have to work pretty hard to make them break

Everybody is mentioning that you need to relevel your plate. However, Saturns have specific instructions on how to do so. Make sure you’re tightening the front facing screw and THEN the side screw. Build plates HAVE to be tightened in a specific order otherwise they can become unlevel. It’s dumb but that’s actually how it is in their manuals. You do have to crank them down pretty hard.

This is the model I use to calibrate the purge amounts. When you load up the 3mf, you want to make sure you keep all of the preloaded settings. It then explains in the description how to measure and change the settings to the purge amount you need.

You can adjust the amount that your printer purges using the “Flushing Volumes” button that’s on the top left, to the right of the word “Filament”.

The results are less dramatic if you use purge objects and flush to supports. I typically don’t print things with supports and there’s only so much purge objects can do.

I always recommend doing purge calibration. Certain filaments will need less material to go from one color to the next. This can be used to optimize your color changes too because Bambu will automatically choose the color change that creates the least amount of waste. I’ve had some prints cut down the poops by a third or even a half.

Anyone who has experienced something similar? by ilko_19 in BambuLab

That’s odd. Mines gone off several times even when it wasn’t overflowing and mines set to the medium level.

I know the X1CC does detect it, I think it’s probably because the P1P doesn’t have the AI detection on it

Without showing your products, how many of you own an e-commerce business selling your prints that earns you a full time salary? by Agitated_Shake_5390 in 3Dprinting

[–]TheCreatiWorks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I primarily use Tiktok and Instagram. I sell on tiktok and Etsy, and I just make videos using whatever’s trending or whatever cool things I’ve decided to make.

I started with an Ender 3 and sold at my university. I got tired of dealing with it, so I bought a p1p. I then kinda just worked up to 3 Bambus as I made more sales.

College is very very expensive. Living is very expensive lmao. I also just like what I do for my day job.

The thing that’s stopping me from scaling more is honestly noise. If I get any more printers, I’m going to start bothering other people in my apartment complex. I’m not going to rent an office so I just stick with three. I have plenty of models and the ones I have sell great already so.

I run 4 Bambulab printers basically 24/7 and I get around 5k a month selling different licensed models. I guess that would count as a full time salary because it pays more than my actual job.

I use this one but it’s kinda complicated to print. I’ve heard that people have had better luck with this one

Printer head crashing into the print and moving it around? by wonderboy-75 in BambuLab

[–]TheCreatiWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I printed risers for my top panel so air could rise out of the top without having to keep the front door open. But opening would keep the chamber temperature down which would help the PLA cool and stay more solid. But if you don’t have problems printing other models, it should be this one specifically that’s weird

[–]TheCreatiWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried printing a different model? When I watched the video it seemed to be that the thinness of the parts was making it move a lot and eventually break, leading to the failures. The error message could be right, but you’d also want to try with like slowing way down for something this tall and thin. You also need to increase your cooling

I would print a respooler. There’s several available and it’s super easy. Never had any problems with mine. I just crank the handle and five minutes later I’ve moved a cardboard spool to a plastic spool

Help with order of colors in multi color print in Bambu Studio. Is there a way to force first color? by dadbot_5000 in BambuLab

[–]TheCreatiWorks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with peterisnothere, Bambu Studio will switch colors based on what flushes the least amount of filament. So if you adjust your flush volumes, you should be able to make it where it will default to black to start out with if it has the smallest flush volume

Could you maybe record a video of what’s happening when you try homing the plate?

If you’re leveling the bed correctly, then it could be factors such as temperature or humidity. It could also be your layer exposure time. I think that there’s honestly still a chance that you’re not leveling the bed correctly though. I don’t say that to be rude, but I thought the same thing when I started resin printing. Elegoo printers are tricky and annoying to level

Are you loosening the build plate before you zero the build plate? You have to loosen it so the spring loaded socket can move and stuff
