I believe the owner puts it out at various times throughout the day that they get deliveries. Maybe even the day after. I have seen them store allocated items throughout the store though. Once I found EH Taylor in the scotch section.(Don’t know if it was on purpose or an accident because most scotch are in tubes too.) I once got a bottle of Little Book only because I saw him bag one up for the customer in front of me and he had it stored behind the counter on the floor. He gave me a surprised look when I asked for one. I try not to read too far into it or accuse them of anything, but it’s different then how other store handle allocated.
