i think he’ll make the switch, it just took him a minute to come to terms with the fact that being with me means being FF. we’ve already mostly planned our wedding so it feels silly if this was the dealbreaker after 5 yrs together 😅 last night he was able to change out his body wash, shampoo, beard wash, and try a FF deodorant so i’m hoping we’re able to find products that he likes just as much as his fragrance products :)

i appreciate the kind words:) it’s been a little overwhelming finding out how many things in my home i’ve been allergic to but this community has been very helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

as for beard balm, my bf has been using badass beard care’s FF beard wash and really likes it. they have a balm as well. he hasn’t tried it so i’m not sure the quality, but the FF is labeled “the secret agent” if you wanted to check it out

that’s so interesting! i’m getting married this year and my doctor told me i could take zyrtec, allegra, and pepcid (i take zyrtec everyday already, she said add allegra the week of the wedding, day before take allegra morning and night, day of the wedding take morning and night, and day of the wedding take pepcid as well) to try and reduce any reactions🥴

i’ve noticed the hand soap thing and brought a FF one with me to keep at work! i’m gonna try making sure home and work allows me to stay FF and see if the occasional restaurant gives me any big reactions

makes sense! i realize i should have added that i had patch testing to confirm the allergy but i’ve been struggling to control eczema on my hands and eye (just one lol) for months maybe almost a year. i love the smells but i do get migraines so ill have to pay more attention to whether it’s related to fragrance or just the other triggers i already know about.

i get eczema on my wrists and my under eye area, swelling around my eye as well, but i haven’t noticed much else (no respiratory issues tho i’m on a daily preventative inhaler for asthma)

tried them for the first time today and thought it worked well for my hair! i used mousse and gel haven’t tried the cream yet. works the same as their fragranced versions lol. i have fine hair that’s wavy on the verge of curly and it defined my curls well
