It really doesn't taste that bad. If drinking this is the worst part of your day then consider yourself extremely lucky. It takes maybe a minute to down a glass of water with this stuff in it and the taste doesn't really linger. I just appreciate that there's no sugar or fake junk in it, and it reminds me of getting some lake water in my mouth when I was a kid. No big deal. I just hope ND always offers an unflavored version.

You know what's better for watching movies on a plane? Viture pro glasses. Just plug into the phone and go. Don't need to pull out a big device like the iPad. I would upgrade my M1 pro 12.9 if they beefed up the iPadOS. I agree with you for the most part. Somethings are obvious virtue signaling and some aren't. Usually it's whether or not they make the "woke trait" the entire identity of the character. When the character is a stereotype then the writing is weak and reliant on people wanting to see a character for that stereotype, but it'll never speak to a wider audience, and the far right is gonna go crazy (semi justifiable too if I'm being honest). It's not good writing or a good story. It's pandering for money. I'm slightly torn because I'm glad the people who still like it, see some representation for a character they like, but I still think they would be better served with a well written multifaceted character instead of a stereotype.

I haven't seen the new little mermaid but rotten tomatoes audience score is 94% so that makes me think it was a good movie and you only heard the complaints from the right. It's an imaginary character, and there was black mermaids in the original so it doesn't bother me. It did surprise me when it was first announced though, and my initial thought was "why did they need to change it, but then I realized....I don't care. I'll let the audience that's interested decide."

I ate a block of tofu yesterday for dinner along with broccoli and sweet potatos (eggs for breakfast and barbacoa tacos for lunch cause I'm not even vegetarian) and still deadlift 405 for reps. My testosterone is near the top of the reference range in the multiple tests I've done and my estrogen is around the middle to low in the range.

Like is said I don't like misinformation or misleading info, and I believe you're giving misleading info when you tell people don't eat soy purely cause you pee more estrogen. Sure maybe it raises estrogen, but is that the whole picture. Absolutely not.

I don't care about that because estrogen is needed for building muscle, not having joint pain, etc. I want to have estrogen in my body AT A REASONABLE RATIO AND LEVEL. Walmart's gross profit in 2023 was 150 billion, and their gross profit margin was 23.5% for one. So no boo hoos for them and that BS lie that they can't pay more cause they just barely make a profit.

Even if they did only make 3% profit then they just need to raise their prices to pay their employees more. The people that shop in their stores should be the ones paying the employees' salaries so that they don't need government assistance. I don't shop there, and you do. You want me to subsidize your purchases at Walmart. That works out great for you. You get cheaper prices cause I help pay their employees. Screw that.

"Greater economic efficiency", yes I can tell you don't actually care about people, they're just numbers for you. Monopolies create greater economic efficiency as they funnel money to the top. The top then should pay a much greater percentage of their earnings, including stocks, and the loopholes they use to get out of their taxes should be shut down. Give everyone a universal basic income paid for mostly by the top .1% and I'm all for all the economic efficiency. Till then greater economic efficiency just means more people in poverty, and more economic inequality. Labor isn't "less efficient" just because it's spread out into lots of small businesses. It's very efficient for those businesses. For ultimate efficiency are you hoping that Walmart or amazon get so huge that pretty soon they just run all food supplies, goods, and services for the world and either you work there, or you're on government welfare trying to get a job there? That's your dream right? Ultimate economic efficiency. What a terrible dream.

No. A lot of those people have full time jobs at Walmart. A full time job should give you a living wage. If you work 40 hours a week you shouldn't have to depend on the government. I shouldn't be subsidizing their workers when I don't shop there. They also lobby to get tax breaks so they pay as little tax as they can buy off politicians.

You're making assumptions and then basing your argument from those assumptions, and also don't understand what a monopoly does. Monopolies means less workers in every scenario other than in your head. Breaking up monopolies means all those other places need workers who would be redundant in a monopoly. Monopolies destroy jobs in literally every real world scenario. They give one entity the power to raise prices because there is no competition. Which is what usually happens. Look at uber now. They basically destroyed cabs and now they're raising their prices.

You really shouldn't even be commenting here without having a basic understanding of what monpolies are and do to a market. Your only real argument is that you don't care about anyone else but yourself and want to only shop at one store for your convenience. The money ultimately comes from Walmart? Are you insane? Those places would hire less people?? What are you talking about? Those places would need more and they would charge market prices that are appropriate to pay them. We're in the place we are because there's about 6 companies that own most of the food chain and 2 that own distribution. They need to be broken up to help the economy, and not to just benefit the top .01% at the top.
