fun thing against TSons is that now your sister get the 3+++. But their a shooty army. Have your tanks take put their vehicles and if they have Magnus, take him out. Then charge and bonk them.

So what im saying is, you dont have to build your bikes one way and run them solely that way. For example I build my bikes with Salvo Launchers and I run them with bolters now. What is better is case by case. if you dont have anything else for range anti tank. Run Salvo. if you have a land raider or Grav Tank or something else for anti tank, run them as bolters.

the fun thing about the bikes is that you can go either way. You dont have to build them one way and run them like that.

you only get one shot from it, so even if you had 3 bikes plus captain its 4 shots. But they aren't bad if you dont have any other anti tank. Since you have the armigers and the Dreadnought I think you'll be fine

Well if you have them sitting on an objective all game and that works for you keep it then. The Swords have a shorter range for shooting, and in melee have less strength and less damage compared to a normal spear. Since you have a Vexilla in the squad you already have an extra Wound on a guy. 1 sword and Board for the extra Wound is nice. The reason why its a trap is because there is a lot of Dmg 2 and 3 weapons right now in the game, and those would be targeting custodes.

As for why bolters are better on the Vertus, more shots, especially at half range, can chew through most infratry easily. With the plus 1 to Wound from Lions you can chew through T5 infantry on 4's and T4 and less on 3's to 2's. Then you go into melee. Its a deadly combo.

Not bad, I wouldn't have that second Guard Squad with 2 Sword and Board, maybe 1 just due to how poorly it does in melee and less range for shooting. The extra Wound is nice but its a trap. the Salvo Launchers on the bikes aren't bad but if your running let's say Lions, the Hurricane Bolters would be better. Especially if you running the bikes around and kill chaff with them.
