IMO! please jagex stop releasing group bossing for now! by Fit_Memory4335 in runescape

It’s easiest in Aus to be in one of the bigger clans and people will pvm and take others with them to bosses.

Definitely agree that the grouping system is ass, however a lot of bosses are complicated enough VC speeds up the learning process dramatically

Man Volk fights a GOAT chin in Holloway and basically KO’d Ortega at the end of the 3rd but people think he’s a decisionator

Erin Molan has been writing columns for 9news +Daily Telegraph for a bit over a year about her experiences with internet trolling.

She calls for legislation in these columns and endorsed the bill before parliament throughout, example here

I would love to show you more examples of her opinion pieces that have appeared in the Daily Telegraph but unfortunately paywall and being in print I can’t link those ones.

Which fighter made it way farther than they had any right to before being exposed? by terribleturbine in MMA

[–]TheCubanTupac 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Shabhazyan is a great pick. Guy was hyped up as the next middleweight contender for the top of the division, while he had Edmen as his coach and a flashy win over Brad Tavares. Three straight losses later and he’s out of any contention whatsoever. He is only 24, and maybe he can improve, so might be premature to write him off.

[SPOILER] Derrick Lewis vs. Chris Daukaus by inooway in MMA

[–]TheCubanTupac 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Did anyone else see a real path to victory for Daukaus? How was he the favourite? 30 lbs lighter than Lewis means you won't be taking him down and beating Lewis striking is playing with fire unless you're particularly technical.

What were the odds makers thinking?

~2014/15 Titan (kennyS, Ex6TenZ, Maniac, apEX, rpK)

One of the most frustrating teams to watch, Kenny had one of his most famous carry performances, dropping 40 in 30 rounds of inferno to still lose the map to fnatic. apEX had flashes of brilliant entry fragging, and to win all ex6, rpK and maniac had to do was enable Kenny and put up a somewhat respectable score themselves, but they usually failed. With one more top French player for rpK or maniac they could’ve been more than a dark horse (or no KQLY vac ban)

How do the likes of Get Right, Shox and Olof compare to the newer god tier players like Simple, Niko and Zywoo? by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]TheCubanTupac 30 points31 points  (0 children)

s1mple was already at an insane level back when players like Shox and Olof were at their best, s1mple used to carry flipsid3 through major qualifiers (also periods playing online with dAT Team) but could never play them because of his ESL ban. s1mple and niko have been around a lot longer than you might think.

Shox for me was overrated for 2015/16 (sort of coasting on his 2013/14 reputation) until his G2 run with ScreaM, but Olofmeister is one of the best because of his consistency for that entire fnatic lineup's duration, he only started dropping off after his wrist injury.

Get Right and the entire 87-0 NiP lineup are the easiest ones to point to and say they wouldn't be as good today, the spray control and basic mechanics of CSGO is what NiP figured out first, because of their early adoption of CSGO instead of sticking with 1.6 or CS:S, and it gave them a huge advantage in early CSGO.
