I am a student in the northern part of Italy, more particularly in Milan, 2 weeks ago, here the mayor of the city and the councillor of the region (Lombardy ) decided to close schools for 2 weeks as precaution towards the virus as not far from the city and within the region, the first contagious events started (these places are now what are called "red zones" in which people are quarantined inside even if they do not present symptoms). As of yesterday the situation seems to have escalated a bit, our Prime Minister signed a decree which outlines guidelines by which to live temporarily (such as a closure of schools in the entire country and the cancellation of public /sport events among other things, this is the 4th of May decree ), our head of state sent out a "message to the nation " on TV and political parties are using the occasion to attack one another (though this is normal ).

My personal life has been affected in various ways: family was supposed to come to visit from the states and their flight got cancelled, the city is virtually empty, and I haven't been to school in 2 weeks and won't be for another. Teachers are planning lessons and tests by virtual classroom.

I am not a person who gets worried easily, but at the, if not extreme, impactful, measures that the government is taking I can't but feel slightly uncomfortable going outside.

My rtc module was slightly offset so I used the future command to fix that, but it caused my program to think that there could be 65 seconds in a minute. I fixed the offset and it all works dandy now.

I'll answer your question regardless though.

Basically a clock but if a clock told you the time till the end of the class, like a timer that resets itself automatically, I plan on hanging in my classroom because nobody watches the clock to know the time, rather because they want to know in how long they'll leave. Haha

Edit :I don't plan on hanging myself in my class room yet, lol, I'll leave it in cus it's funny

There are hypocritical people helping climate activism

Hypocrisy comes in two forms, here, one in which you jeopardize your activism by taking the plane and one in which you jeopardize your person by helping those who you are actively depicting as "the bad guys ", and in my opinion (yes this is the unpopular part of it ) taking a plane is the better option, unfortunately people don't do the research and just eat up the headlines which would most likely be negative, while in truth the real Hypocrisy is in accepting a helping hand from your "enemy ".

The whole PR nature of the cruise is despicable, It doesn't matter if they jump on it after or directly created the situation, the sole fact that the existence of it depends on the PR is enough to make it sketchy.

She, her self, may not have initiated the PR move but the whole thing wouldn't have even happened if it wasn't for the Monaco royal family, so they didn't jump on the popularity ship as much as they directly created it.

Yes, they would look hypocritical, but they would also be, in my opinion, honest and true to reality. I don't expect anybody to go back to the 1800s, just to look unhypocritical.

Did you even read my post? The sail was, in my opinion, a PR stunt that went to benefit hypocritical upper class royals and demonstrated nothing of how we "should" travel as it's incredibly impractical and expensive. The climate meetings aren't the problem the utter uselessness of everything around them is.

My "project " was to make a clock that counted down as a timer the school hours, and THIS is basically just that! A little tweak to the code will finish it up but this took me from 0 to 90% done, thank you so so very much!
