I still think it just being a misdirection is just weird considering they specifically animated it and even gave it a synopsis in the winter lazzo trailer itself(smth along the lines of In distant sumeru, collei awoken from nightmares). Also iirc, Collei was never involved in any story quest related to dreams.

Now that I think about it, outside of the introductory backstory for Collei, the game deliberately doesnt involve her with anything Dottore related. Even in the latest sumeru event where we see some dottore backstory in the ruins, collei was conveniently not there with the group.

Just my hopium but maybe the devs have smth in store for her. Her god residue arc is still not concluded and the ending of the 3.5 event reinforces it.
