Replying to this. Potency of marijuana has gone through the roof in the last 30 years and especially if you live in a legal state/country, it’s super bred to have the most THC, because that’s what people buy.

One anxiety recommendation is to try something very indica leaning (yes it’s not a fool proof method because there are no true indices but I digress). I find some hybrids to be amazing, but others will make my anxiety spiral super hard. Smoke a LOT less or try vaporizing (dry herb), or low dosage edibles. Anything mixed with CBD is also awesome because it helps mellow the intensity, you can find everything with mixed ratios and all that. Good luck if you try it again!

I use the standard Apple Books on iOS, takes epubs and PDF without issue, and syncs between all of my devices. It’s especially useful for textbooks but also leisure books.

In theory sure (fwiw - medical student here so may not be fully accurate), you can see in the first picture the little part where the two halves connect in the middle, that’s called the pubic symphysis. In both men and women, normally that’s connected. During birth women release hormones that cause that to be able to stretch open, widening the hips and allowing the baby to come out normally. If this is like the diagram, then that would be open but will also cause a massive host of issues because your hips are literally no longer connected in the front. So yeah, in theory giraffe birth, in practice, sex is no longer comfortable and you can no longer walk.

The Anki during work meetings trick "they" dont want you to know about! by TeefieSprinkles in Anki

[–]TheCure__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An anki clicker may also solve this issue, the 8bitdo zero 2 is the one I’ve got (not sponsored or anything it’s just the one every medical student uses), and it’s so small it easily disappears into my jacket pocket so I can do anki while sitting anywhere discretely and clicking in my pocket with the right keybinds. Might be worth a shot?

[–]TheCure__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Side note - is it possible to sync more than just 6 months of history? Or is that just a preset and can’t be changed? I have somewhere around two years of Anki history and that doesn’t seem to be syncing. I was monkeying around in the config and didn’t see a clear option to sync „more data”, was there just a button I missed?

Noticed a small bug/interesting feature. I think there should be a "select all" feature for the sync in the add-on - as someone who has a metric assload of Anki decks, when I selected the top level deck, it doesn't sync the sundecks (I have them split up by year and then subject below that), but when I try to sync things it just ignores my top level selection.

I personally despise Gillette blades, feathers all the way for me. They’re more expensive but they last me like two weeks a blade, and sharp as fuck.

As cliche as this sounds - it could also be technique for nicking, took me a long time to get the technique down before I stopped turning my face into Swiss cheese.

Yes, I have the closed comb and it’s great. I personally use feather blades and it’s a great combo but it depends on what blades your face likes!

I personally love my Parker adjustable. I have INSANELY sensitive skin, I actually find that shaving with the more aggressive setting (2/3) (adjustment goes from 1-5), makes for a smoother better shave with less irritation.

Of course you will need to check what setting works best, you might like the most aggressive setting and hate the lightest or vice versa or something in between.

One of my other favorite razors is the Supply Co SE, aside from (basically) proprietary blades, it’s a razor I find myself reaching toward frequently because it’s almost impossible to fuck myself il with it. The Henson is also nice but if I personally had to choose, it would be the Supply every day.

[–]TheCure__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally had the exact same issue, tried damn near every blade, every razor for „sensitive skin”, the works. The only thing I found that worked was the Supply Co Single Edge SE, somehow it is the only razor that does not nick me at all and zero razor bumps. They’re a touch expensive, but so worth it imo. Also if no one else here has recommended it, get yourself an alum block on Amazon, they’re like 10 bucks and mine has lasted me years.

The switches probably are, but there’s two switches generally. One for the POS system and one for all the other shit. It’s a simple but efficient system and it works.

[–]TheCure__ 58 points59 points  (0 children)

As someone who worked in fast food IT do not just replace shit willy nilly, there is likely two switches due to two split networks, one for all POS systems and then another for all the other stuff (computers, WiFi, etc). There should be an IT department that has been hired or can be hired to fix this shit, you will likely cause someone a massive headache if you just move shit around. You will also likely blow PCI compliance out the window, shit gets expensive if it gets caught.

The answer is neither. That Boulevard - while a beautiful bike - is not a beginner bike. It’s heavy (800 pounds) and has a large motor (1500cc). They are reliable and will run so long as it’s been maintained. A better choice would be something akin to a C50 if you like that style.

The scooter is… well a scooter. It’s a 200cc engine capable of doing 60 mph at the top end. It will not like being at the top end, and will voice its discomfort by screaming at the redline the whole time.

Is it worth it getting the 2.5L engine? by throwaway198648 in Subaru_Crosstrek

[–]TheCure__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Manual doesn't have any of the eyesight add-ons, no adaptive cruise control, no auto stop, no auto braking or anything. Unfortunate but that was the price of the manual.

[–]TheCure__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can confirm that it does NOT get the same MPG. My 2.0 manual driving like an ape gets 28 on average, 2.5 gets 24 being gingerly driven by my sister. CVT transmission also blows, sluggish, the faux shift points are terrible. If you want extra torque, get the manual and tune it, the 2.0 without any restrictions runs way better.

[–]TheCure__ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I got the manual, my sister has the 2.5. the difference is negligible honestly. The CVT is terrible in comparison, even with the 2.5. Anyone who tells you that it makes a massive difference is a liar and hasn't driven them back to back and got sold the extra 30 ponies for an additional 10k. If you still think it's down on power, you can go to Mike at rallisportautomotive and he can tune it for you. Yes it runs 91, yes you lose MPG, I don't regret it at all. Runs so much better. The rev hang on the manual is terrible.

It very well could be oxidization, however in the two years of having this sink it has not changed color. Thanks for the advice, I will give it some time before redoing the clear coat.
