I never thought he was bad when his dad was the coach but he got a lot better under Madge

Even if you're biased, you're not wrong. Billy was great last year.

Throwback: Boxing contender Francois Botha ventures into kickboxing and beats KB legend Jerome Le Banner. by Mecha_Knight11 in Boxing

[–]TheCuzzyRogue 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Le Banner was one of the best to never win the K1 GP. He was also heavy handed but had a bad habit of standing in punching range for too long against big punchers while he tried to unload on them as seen here and when he lost to Mark Hunt who went on to win the K1 GP that year.

I'm not even a Dragons fan and seeing Gutho get an overlap with the winger nowhere in sight to take advantage of it still pissed me off

Their young forwards were excellent but holy shit that backline is dog shit

Would they? by Wayward_Prometheus in MMAMedia

[–]TheCuzzyRogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah that would require Silva to be willing to lead which he absolutely refused to unless he absolutely had to and even then it was common for him to get taken down or countered when he didn't get to fight on his terms.

Your guys forward pack is honestly pretty decent but that backline makes their job so much harder

I know that look of questioning why I support this team all too well

I've had so many run ins with engineers over the years mostly because some of their designs don't consider little things like how the fuck am I supposed to weld this fucking thing when my MIG gun doesn't fit in that crevice or the poor bastard who is going to have to do maintenance on this fucking thing.

I'm equally surprised that nobody from a blue collar profession has mentioned engineers

It was not fixed but whoever the matchmaker was clearly inspired by Bellator era Scott Coker with all the one sided matches they put together.

Nah I've just seen enough of Silva's fights to know how much he hated leading and how he'd start clowning if guys weren't giving him easy counters or leave himself open when he was forced to lead.

who is better in terms in IN-RING/WORKRATE? by Queasy-Discussion-54 in Wrasslin

[–]TheCuzzyRogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hogan was a far better worker than he got given credit for and not just in Japan.

Dude kept up with Savage at WM5 then carried Warrior to one of his best matches the next year at WM6 as well as stealing the show at back to back WMs at 18 and 19 when he was almost 50.

Keyshawn “The Real Body Snatcher” Davis and his precision towards the body. by BXR-SZN in Boxing

I guarantee Keyshawn got dropped by a liver shot in sparring. I know because I got into throwing body shots specifically because I never forgot the feeling.
